Scottish Cup - Darvel

No other top-flight side has previously lost to a team five divisions down, but that is what happened on Monday night in the Scottish Cup against Darvel. Scottish League Cup - Rangers v Aberdeen

It wasn't to be in our Scottish League Cup Semi-Final against Rangers at Hampden. Despite us going ahead with a Bojan Miovski goal, a Kemar Roofe sucker punch in extra time saw us lose 2-1 on the day, not helped by yet another Anthony Stewart sending off. Matchday 21 - St Johnstone

We end 2022 with another loss, this time against Kilmarnock in a lacklustre affair at a wet and windy Rugby Park. Matchday 18 - St Mirren

No Christmas cheer for the Dons in Paisley, as we lose 3-1 against St Mirren. Post match reaction from the manager, Jim Goodwin, plus some fixture news. The joys of recording as matches are being played, a last minute goal from Hearts made it 2-2 in the Dundee Utd match and not 2-1 as in the recording - so Utd remain bottom of the league. Matchday 17 - Rangers

So near, but so far - two goals in injury time secured the points for Rangers at Pittodrie, after the Dons were 2-1 up at the end of the 90. Another frustrating night for the Red Army. Matchday 16 - Celtic

Welcome back - the AFC DONScast returns following the World Cup. A match to forget at Pittodrie on Saturday against Celtic, as the Dons lose out to a late Calum McGregor goal. Matchday 15 - Dundee Utd

The Dons head into the World Cup winter break third in the Scottish Premiership following their 1-0 win against Dundee Utd on Saturday. It's a Dons double this week as we review our League Cup win against Partick Thistle and our second away win of the season against Motherwell and our first VAR match.
