Matchday 13 - HJK Helsinki / Hibernian

The snow fell, jingle bells was sung and the Dons drew in our penultimate UEFA Europa Conference League match against HJK Helsinki last Thursday. Pre match thoughts from Jamie McGrath and Barry Robson. Then in the capital earlier today, we lost 2-0 to Hibs at Easter Road. Barry Robson provides his post-match thoughts on the game. A much shorter SPFL round-up this week due to snow and frozen pitches, plus find our Scottish Cup draw opponents and who Scotland will face in the opening match of UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. Matchday 12 - Rangers

A VAR assisted penalty for the visitors deep into injury time was the only difference between Aberdeen and Rangers as both side finished the match, 1-1 on Sunday afternoon at a cold Pittodrie. Matchday 11 - PAOK/Celtic

Our European journey beyond Christmas comes to an end following our draw in Greece against PAOK and we suffer a hangover on Sunday with a lacklustre performance against Celtic in Glasgow. A 6-0 loss is the worst in the Premiership so far this season.


Matchday 10 - Motherwell / League Cup - Hibs

A successful week for the Dons. A convincing win against Motherwell midweek and we ground out a result against Hibs in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Saturday. Connor Barron provides the preview from Motherwell, with Barry providing his post-match reaction. Theo Snelders and Paul Mason look back on some of their favourite League Cup games and we are pre and post-match with Barry. Aberdeen Women were back in action today against Motherwell. Bayley Hutchison had an epic performance scoring four goals and her 100th for the club. Matchday 9 - PAOK / Kilmarnock

Three points in Europe were snatched away from us in the final minutes of our match against PAOK at Pittodrie on Thursday night. Pre-match with Stefan Gartenmann and Barry Robson and post match reaction following the game with Barry. And our league encounter with Kilmarnock on Sunday didn't give us much joy either, losing 2-0 on the road in a tepid affair at Rugby Park. Barry provides his analysis of the game. Plus RedTV caught up with Slobodan Rubezic on his time with the Dons so far, and the Dons U14s won the first every Craig Brown Memorial Tournament at Cormack Park earlier this month. Matchday 8 - HJK Helsinki / St Johnstone

Our second match in Group G of the UEFA Europa Conference League saw us meet HJK Helsinki at Pittodrie. A pre-match warm-up with Neil Simpson and Barry Robson and post-match reaction from Barry following our 1-1 draw. Earlier today we also drew with St Johnstone at a damp Pittodrie. Hear the thoughts of Barry following the game Also this afternoon, Aberdeen Women were on the road to Dundee to face Dundee Utd in SWPL. Clint Lancaster previews the game. Matchday 7- League Cup: Ross County / Rangers

Another double-header this week. The Dons were in action midweek against Ross County in Dingwall in the League Cup and then a league match in Glasgow against Rangers on Saturday and secured wins in both. Aberdeen Women didn't fair as well in the Sky Sports Cup earlier today against Hibs in Edinburgh - Clint Lancaster and Hannah Stewart provide a preview. Matchday 6 - Eintracht Frankfurt / Ross County

It's another double-header this week. First up, more from our opening Europa Conference League match against Eintracht Frankfurt with pre and post match reaction from Kelle Roos, Barry Robson and Dante Polvara. And earlier today the first of our two matches against Ross County this week, first up the search of some vital league points against Ross County at Pittodrie - we hear from Barry Robson post-match. Matchday 5 - Hearts

It's a big few weeks for the Dons. 7 matches in 23 days which started off with our match against Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday. Unfortunately, it was another loss, and more worryingly we have only won two of our last 13 games since Barry became manager. Post match reaction from Barry Robson Plus:


Matchday 4 - BK Häcken / Hibernian

A big week for the Dons. Could we see progress into the Europa League group stages and register our first win in the league? Coming up this week: The next AFC DONScast will be on Sunday 17 September after the international matches.

It's a double header this week on the AFC DONScast. It's a busy one!


League Cup #1 - Stirling Albion

Our league cup encounter against Stirling Albion wasn't as straightforward as we would have liked, but we progress to the quarter-finals after a 2-1 win on Friday night. Matchday 2 - Celtic

Matchday 2- our first home match of the season in the lunchtime kick-off against Celtic. A harsh 3-1 for us, but a decent performance from the Dons compared to previous outings between the two at Pittodrie. Post-match reaction from Barry Robson. The AFC DONScast is back ahead of the 2023/24 campaign with the first of our pre-season shows. We start with a small tribute to Craig Brown. Two shows for the price of one as we look back on our must-win match against St Mirren at Pittodrie on Wednesday night and a forgettable end-of-season outing at Celtic Park on Saturday.
