Six months have passed since the tumultuous events in Fishfair, and now they face a new challenge: a distress signal from Plaustov City. Oskana, the intrepid leader of an expedition, has vanished without a trace, leaving her people in disarray. With the stand-in leader, Zalni, desperately seeking aid, our adventurers must navigate the treacherous waters of uncertainty and danger once more in "Whispers of the Eclipse."

In this episode of Cosmic CritPatrick, Tyler, Myles, Gibert, and Seth embark on an adventure among the stars, version 2! We're trying out Starfinder 2E, using the current playtest rules, and having a blast. Truthfully, Rebecca is writing these teaser notes and I have no idea what the guys got up to -- but from the sound of it, it was a raucous time. Perhaps we should warn you not to drive while listening...

It's finally Founders' Day! The Founding Five are given the opportunity to do some self-reflection and make some changes. And some old friends of ours show up.

Having determined that Fishfair is responsible for the attempts to destroy Veridian Colony, the Founding Five head south to accost Pavo Sotillo. But he proves difficult to locate. Will they be able to open the doors needed to defeat Pavo in time?

With Namil Tanna's dead body outside their house, the Founding Five discover a text message sent to "Duo." They head to the center of town to check in on the set up for Founders' Day, but things take a turn for the worse when two of the colonists are infected by bodysnatcher slimes!

The colony's sugar store has been depleted, leading our characters on a wild goose chase to track it down.

It's not the first time a Cosmic Crit crew has encountered a Mountain Eel, but this one is all grown up and ready to tear them to shreds. Will the Founding Five have what it takes to take down the Eel for that sweet, sweet hide?

The Founding Five decide to pay the colony to the south a visit, and they find the people and leaders of Fishfair to be quite suspicious.

The Founding Five emerge from the caverns and return to the colony to celebrate Founders' Day. But they run into an old friend - Haltharia Grommin, the former botanist, who asks for their help in hiding from a corporate headhunter.

With Redacted below, faced with four security bots, the rest of the Founding Five struggle to make their way down to help Redacted in their task. More mysteries abound in the strange Kasathan mission.

In the gymnatorium of the mission, the Founding Five find 2 squid-like creatures out to get them. Narrowly escaping their grasp, they continue their search and find themselves back where they started -- with an elevator to the basement.

A creature composed of pinkish purple goo proves to be a formidable foe for the Founding Five. Will they survive or be gobbled up for good?
