Shelbourne ended a 6 year long wait to get promoted back to the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division by a win in Drogheda on Friday night. Ex LOI player David O'Connor took over as CEO of the club in April 2018. O’Connor represented UCD AFC, Shamrock Rovers, and Limerick FC during a nine-year career before moving to the other side of the game.
