Another week goes by and UCF still hasn't lost. The new narrative is that UCF should schedule more like Boise State did in the late aughts. Only problem is, UCF is scheduling like Boise State did (and then some) and Boise State never got their shot either! The Florida's AD chimed in, somehow trying to spin it that UCF is afraid to schedule them, when it is he who won't schedule UCF. We talk through it all, plus some Orlando City, Appolos, and Magic talk.
Another undefeated season for UCF, another AAC Championship, another College Football Playoff snub. No surprises here, but we share are thoughts on the incredible Championship game versus Memphis, the CFP committee, and the upcoming Fiesta Bowl against LSU.

We're back after almost a year and UCF still hasn't lost. McKenzie Milton's knee is dead, but UCF's playoff hopes aren't just yet. The Magic are surprisingly fun, and the Orlando Apollos have their QB white elephant gift exchange. As for Orlando City, well...
This was the craziest weekend in UCF Football history. For the second consecutive week, the team was in an absolute barn-burner, this time against Memphis. Somehow, someway, they pulled off a miracle and won the AAC Championship game, solidifying their first ever undefeated season. Immediately after the game, however, Scott Frost admitted he was leaving for Nebraska and the search for a new coach was on. Enter the Kevin Sumlin rumors.
UCF continues their winning ways and the Magic shock everyone with a complete beatdown of the Cavs in Cleveland. Plus the Solar Bears come home and Orlando Anarchy tryouts are in sight. All this and more on this weeks Orlando Sports Report.

We tried to get into the latest Orlando news, but being the middle of summer, there hardly is any. The Magic signed Jonathan Simmons to a 3-year deal and that's about it. Then we talk about the ECHL realignment a little and try to come up with a better name for the Jacksonville Icemen. Finally, we end up detouring into a discussion of NBA players who are well remembered, but NOT for their time playing for the Magic. It's the dog days of summer for Orlando sports fans... No hockey, no football, the NBA Summer League is over, Orlando City is in the middle of the regular season and the humidity has reached an all-time high in Central Florida. What's there to talk about? [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1050"] Welp, there's always Tim Tebow[/caption]
[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="920"] Photo by Mike Stobe/Getty Images[/caption] Brent & Allen give their $0.02 on Magic first round pick, Jonathan Isaac, as well as the latest with Orlando City and the Pride. The conversation takes a few detours to talk about the most embarrassing photos in Magic lore and to rant about the Big 3 League being tape-delayed.
The panic button is back out for Orlando City as we break down the Cyle Larin DUI, discuss draft options the Magic have, and take a random tangent deep dive into the Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft. [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="650"] Larin's Mugshot > Tiger's Mugshot[/caption] All this and more on this episode of the Orlando Sports Report.
Long-time Orlando Magic broadcaster, David Steele, joins Brent & Allen to talk about the Magic, the upcoming draft, why the future is bright, and share some behind-the-scenes stories. [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Debby Wong - USA Today Sports[/caption] David Steele has been the voice of the Magic since the very beginning. Us first generation Magic fans grew up listening to his radio call on our Walkmans when our parents made us go to bed before the game was over. He then...

Brent & Allen resurface after jinxing the Solar Bears and not wanting to talk about the last two Orlando City games. But, alas, they couldn't hide forever as the Orlando sports scene rolls on with rumors of who the Magic will hire as President of Basketball Operations and then GM, the DeVos Family buying the Solar Bears, and UCF baseball rolling. Big wins for The Solar Bears and for Orlando City this week. Cyle Larin continues his dominance on the field, and the Solar Bears take a 3-2 series lead back to Estero. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="434"] “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!”[/caption]
The NBA season has come to a close for the Orlando Magic, while Orlando City is just getting started. The Magic now look to the draft and hiring a new GM. Rob Hennigan got the boot after his five years of consistent bottom feeding in the Association. As for the other local professional team, Orlando City continues to produce results. Another home win gives them four on the season. They only had six home wins all of last season. While the Magic have been steadily bad, OCSC is trending...
It's been a couple weeks since we've done our regular weekly recap, and so much is happening in the Orlando sports world right now, so we condensed about three weeks of topics into about 20 minutes of discussion, debate, and utter disbelief: [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="275"] The Magic franchise in one image.[/caption] All this and more on this week’s Orlando Sports Report.
