Tonight’s guest, Todd Neiss, is a Sasquatch researcher who has spent the vast majority of his life in the Pacific Northwest. What got him started down the road of researching Sasquatch was an experience he had with 3 of them, years ago, in the Oregon Coast Range, while he was serving in the Army, with the 1249th Combat Engineers. Before that fateful day, the existence of Sasquatch was just an urban legend that didn’t have any truth to it, in Todd’s opinion. After he saw 3 of them, with his own eyes, however, the phenomenon took on a whole new meaning. Tonight’s guest, Dr. Erin Drinkwater, has had one Sasquatch sighting and several other experiences that might have been Sasquatch-related. Her sighting shook her up. There’s no arguing that, but the experience that frightened her most happened one night, in her own home. That was the night she realized she and her daughter weren’t the only ones in her house. She became aware of the unwelcome visitor due to it stomping around upstairs. When she heard it do what it did, up there, she prayed it wasn’t going to come downstairs to kill her and her daughter. One day when tonight’s guest was 10 years old, he stole his dad’s fishing pole and headed for a creek that wasn’t too far from home. When he made it to the creek, he walked up to a train trestle that he planned to fish under, but things didn’t go to plan for him. He didn’t get to do any fishing that day. When he walked up to the trestle, something got his attention, on the railroad ties above his head. The ties were only about 12 feet above the ground he was standing on, so they weren’t too far above his head. When he looked up, between the ties, he couldn’t believe what he saw looking back at him. Tonight’s guest, Jonathan Easley, is a Sasquatch researcher who has a lot of zeal, when it comes to partaking in his favorite pastime, researching Sasquatch. There is a Sasquatch-related experience he had in 2015, however, that vexes him to this day. When tonight’s guest, Amanda, was growing up, near Wimauma, Florida, there were miles and miles of orange groves and strawberry farms in the area. Woods wound through the area too. Try as they might, Amanda’s parents couldn’t keep her out of the woods there. Her neighbors warned her that Wood Boogers were in the area, but she still loved spending as much time as possible in the woods there. Even though she spent all of that time in the woods, she didn’t find out the truth, about her neighbor’s warnings, until one night when she was sitting at her kitchen table, with the sliding glass door cracked open. That’s the first time she saw a Sasquatch. The little Sasquatch she saw that night was, most likely, Tank’s son. Tank is a huge, male, Sasquatch Amanda has seen more than once. Tonight’s guest, Nathan Millet, has had two Sasquatch-related encounters in his life. When he had his first one, he didn’t see the Sasquatch. He merely heard it vocalizing at him and his friends, from a short distance away. Even though he never saw that Sasquatch, the experience got his adrenaline pumping. The second time he had an encounter, however, was much more remarkable. That time, he saw a family of them. He saw what appeared to be the father, mother, and two offspring. At 5:30 AM, on a Saturday morning in late 1997, tonight’s guest, Paul Truslow, was lying in bed when he heard his dogs going crazy in his backyard. At the time, he was living in Rocklin, California, not far from Sacramento. His property backed up to a game preserve that served as a gateway to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Wondering what his dogs were so stirred up about, he got out of bed and looked out a window, in one of his back bedrooms. When he looked out the window, he noticed that a black form was lying about 40 yards behind his back fence, in the huge field behind his neighborhood. At first, he thought it was just a black bear, but black bears don’t do what the creature he was looking at did next. Tonight’s guest, Gordon Dodds, has been fascinated by the Sasquatch phenomenon ever since 1967, when the Patterson/Gimlin Film was released. Little did he know that, years later, he’d be so immersed in the subject. You see, Gordon lives in Hampshire, England but a lot of what he knows about Sasquatch, he learned from Dr. Matthew Johnson, here in the U.S. This knowledge wasn’t strictly imparted on him via telephone either. He actually travelled to the U.S. to spend time, in the field, with Dr. Johnson. A lot of what you’re going to hear, on tonight’s show, varies from the opinions most enthusiasts have about Sasquatch, but who’s right and who’s wrong? There are a lot of credible eyewitnesses who say that they’ve witnessed Sasquatch do things that defy explanation.
