With some simple ideas that you probably never even thought of right under your nose. I am about to tell you 5 simple ideas. Number 1 – Ask For More It’s as simple as putting your prices up or just go to your boss and ask for more. Number 2 – Extra Money Supply From Things You Already Have Being a tradesman you understand the value of quality. Those drills you buy for $100 that wouldn’t dill a hole in butter are useless! They may be good for putting your Ikea furniture together. Number 3 – Create A You Tube Channel This one can not only pay you, it can be fun too. Create a you tube channel or short form videos. Number 4 – Use A Credit Card That Pays You As a tradesman running your own business, you spend a fortune! I used to spend over 10k a month at the wholesales for years. It wasn’t until the last few years I started to use a credit card. Number 5 – Plan Jobs For Other Tradesmen When you start a new job, you plan on what your going to do and how your going to do it, basically design the install. As you know some tradesmen haven’t got a clue, and make it up as they go along only to mess the whole job up.

The UK is facing the biggest fall in living standards, down to the government’s actions. In fact, the biggest since 1952! As you can imagine – its going to take some time to recover! How did the UK get to be in this position and what does the future look like for the UK? Here I will go into detail what happened and I will also let you know how to recover faster than everyone else. Break The Chains Podcast ▶Listen To Podcast This may get a little complicated – so stick with me. I’m going to explain it all, just as I understand it. RHDI ( Real Household disposable Income) It all boils down to the RHDI which stands for the Real Household disposable Income. Which is used to measure the living standards of people living in a country. The UK living standard in 2023 and 2024 are going to decrease by 4.3%. 4.3% may seem like a small number, but it’s the biggest fall since 1956 – which was when they started to track the living standards. Its not predicted to increase for at least 2 years after that. This long term decrease has happened before in 2008 but not as much. In effect its like turning back time to 2013 to how the standard of living was back then. Losing 8 years of the economy growth. The bank of England has released a statement expecting the longest recession the UK has ever seen. Predicting that Europe could possibly follow. What about the rest of the world? The UK being one of the big players as the 6th largest economy in the world behind – UK cant be the only one in trouble with living standards right now? The UK has always been know as expensive, with how much it costs to own a property in the middle of London. The pound sterling has always been pretty strong against other currencies all over the world. Has been in the past! Currently its became a lot weaker. In the nest 2 years its predicted that 500,000 people will lose their jobs. Then the people who do actually have a job, the income wont stretch as far as it used to. With less people buying less houses the value of property will also come down. This could be seen as a good thing for people who can afford the interest rates that have also gone up on barrowing. But this is why the RHDI (Real Household disposable Income) is going down, because the income people with a job do earn – its buying them a lot less, pushing the living standards down. To fight the rising cost of inflation in the UK, the Bank Of England raised its interest rate from 0.75% TO 3% - The biggest rise in 33 years. So how did the UK get to be in this terrible situation? Its no surprise it has something to do with Brexit, the UK voted to exit the European union. The EU or European union was formed in 1992 that was an agreement between countries, so that they can all trade with each other without expensive taxes. Also to let each other travel in the Europe without and special visas. In addition the euro was born. Witch gave the European union stability in the financial markets. However the UK decided to opt out of the euro currency to be completely independent. With what happened in Greece in 2009, this proved to be a good move. When the UK existed the European union it made it a lot more expensive for the UK to do business. This is another reason the pound sterling is becoming weaker due to instability in the market. Not Only Brexit To Blame For the Decline Another reason is due to Liz Truss announcement out of nowhere that the UK was going to cut taxes on the rich! No explanation on how the plan was going to work or be funded to benefit the UK economy. Costing the government Liz was in charge of, £45 billion. Weather it be – Its common knowledge that people will always need this type of skilled workers. There are too many pros to learning a trade to see any of the cons. That is until you have done the job for a number of years. Being a tradesman your always looking to make more money, or to better your circumstances in life. After being employed for a few years, the next best thing is to start up your own business – then your trapped. The moneys good, you have a big network of customers to keep happy, because you want to keep the constant work coming in. That’s just it, being a tradesperson isn’t easy. It also isn’t something you can make money out of if your not physically there doing the job. Trying Different Things...... You could have a membership that you offer to customers, where if they get a problem, you will be there within 24 hours. Then you have a 24 hour call out service and need to be ready all the time. However you look at building a passive income as a tradesman, its comes at a cost of your time. Then there is the fear of change. Keeping you feeling stuck. How the hell can you do something different after being the same person for so many years. Its not only the fear, its other peoples opinion and what they think of you. When I left schools I started a mechanic apprenticeship. I lasted a year getting covered in oil and grease before thinking – this isn’t for me, I didn't feel stuck back then. So when I got my apprenticeship as an electrician, I went back to the same collage. Saw the same tutors and they said to me “what’s next year Ben, you going to come back and do painting?” I did finish the apprenticeship as an electrician, just quit that too 20 years later. Who actually makes the decision that you can't change your mind, you can’t give something else a try? We know it should be us, its just the outside influences that stop us. How many times have you missed out on trying something because you were worried what others would say? Its time to stop all that. Think about you and what you want in your life. What advice would you give your child if they were you? Make a plan and quit! Make a plan first you don’t want to become a bum.😀 You need to think about what you want for your future. If your happy with what your doing then others around you will be happy too. When you feel stuck you lose interest in what your currently doing, you not as enthusiastic as when you first started. Don’t you want that exciting feeling back again? You can get this by giving yourself a challenge, something completely out your comfort zone. If you got the looks you could start an only fans page, unfortunately for me that wasn’t an option. Outside being a tradesman there is a whole world of opportunities. Opportunities that will enable you to make money 24 hours a day. It does sound too good to be true when you first think about it, but how do you think so many people are able to manage just that? Some at the age of 20 straight out of collage! They don’t go out and charge £1000 an hour for working in someone’s garden. They have created a system that pays them over and over even whiles they sleep. Waking up to being paid, I never even knew this was a thing until a few years ago. So I dived into it myself. Trying to keep control of your budget on what your spending, can be a challenge. You work hard – earned some good money. But never had any spare – never had any savings for a rainy day. It took me a little while – but I found out why. So I’m here today to help you do the same with an option to make those savings grow a lot quicker. Few years ago my main source of income was an electrician, I ran my own electrical business and it was going pretty well. It had to really I had been in the trade for over 20 years, starting up on your own was a natural thing for a lot of tradesmen to do. The reason I did was because I wanted more of the pie. All for other people who too the lions share of the profits seemed a waste of time after a while. Of course there was also the money. I wanted to make more money to have a nicer car and a bigger house. That Was The Plan Anyway. It didn’t work out like that and its not until I look back years later I actually figured out why. When employed or self-employed working for a company you are paid a wage. Near enough the same wage every week. That’s pretty easy to budget around. It’s a set amount every week – pay your bills and the rest is yours to spend. But there something more appealing to being your own boss. That’s the idea we have in your head from the beginning, and dam its exciting. After completing a few jobs things are going well. Keeping An Eye On the Budget How long does it take before your budgeting goes out the window? There a fancy new bit of kit at the wholesales – that will make your life so much easier on site. It’s a grand, that’s in your back pocket from the last job… So you treat yourself. There £100 in your pocket left over – may as well have a few beers with the other lads from site. This quickly becomes a lifestyle. The only problem is all outgoing like They all come out monthly. When you have been living weekly. It can go on for a while until the work dries up a little and that back pocket feels a little lighter then it normally is. There only a few options left at the stage. Where The Hell Did The Budget All Go Wrong! The end or year finances that your account does, says you doubled your income. So why is there noting left? Money management! Not only did you not keep an eye on what you were spending. The things you were spending them on were far beyond what you could afford. It was inevitable going to come crashing down. Of course we don’t want to make the same mistake twice! Learn the skill of money management. Its hard when you get paid 5k one week and noting for the next 2 weeks. Its easy to get carried away and spend way beyond your means, then look back and wonder how it happened when it catches up with you. A lesson that has always stuck with me is Fail to plan – plan to fail. That’s so true in business. Even if it’s a 12 month plan, its better then no plan at all. The first thing you want to do is give yourself a day to do this. When a task is rushed, its never don’t properly. So book yourself a day off to get things in order. Open up a spread sheet and detail all your outgoings. The best way is to check your bank statements from the last month. Then it depends how far you can go back also list the money coming in to your business. This way you can see where all the money is going and what you need to cut back on. When I first started doing this, I realized I wasn’t charging near enough for a call out. I may have been pocketing an extra £50 but with the time and cost of materials I was making the same money as I was working in the day. From the age of 12 he had a job, I don’t think it was through choice, I think his dad made him. He worked nearly every day of his life until he was 65. That’s 53 years. 19350 days It wasn’t until my dad retired at the age of 65 that he did something he enjoyed. That was grow flowers and vegetable in an allotment, along with a few chickens. The amount he harvested it would of easily made a good living. I would love to be able to ask him today if we went back 30 years would you have done things differently? I cant, its too late. When my dad passed in 2020 it made me question my own life and what I was doing with it. Making My Time Alive Count I was successful as an electrician with a very busy electrical business. However I never had the time to enjoy life. I was always working and my head was filled with tasks I had to do all the time. This stressed me out. When most of my friends were self employed tradesmen they were all in the same position – so I assumed it was normal. Well that was my normal for 20 years. Growing a business as self employed all by myself. What do you do to relax when your always working? You sleep or head down the pub to drown your sorrows. Meet up with a bunch of guys you call your best friends because they all know whet your going through. Because they do you the same as you! I will admit, back in my 20 it was fun. You work hard and you play dam hard – too hard for some of us that carried on playing hard to this day. Yesterday Is History - The Best Time Is Today What if I tried to do something that could run on auto 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Where would you be now in life? Being in the UK myself and knowing some of the people who have to choose between eating or heating there home…. How did we get here? Who is to blame? Is it Putin for starting the war? Shooting up the interest on mortgages, where many people wont even be able to afford. This effects everyone, even if you already have a mortgage. I have a friend who rents a property, the property has a mortgage on it. Recently they has to renew their mortgage, this would cost them and extra £200 on the mortgage payments. The options they has was to increase the rent of the tenants, passing on the burden of the interest increase or pay the mortgage off. Which will add to them also needing help with energy bills. There will be some people who haven’t got option one. Therefore have to increase the rent £200. So for a family who is renting, maybe trying to save to be able to afford to get their own mortgage – this pushes them back even further! You can exactly go to your employer and say – my rents gone up, can I have a rise to cover it? Even if you had a nice boss that would give you that rise, can they afford it? Its Not Only People Who Need Help With Energy Bills The fuel prices that are sky high, along with the energy prices. Its not only a problem for the people, it’s a big problem for business too. If you think of builders. The cost of materials went up a few years ago, they never came back down. This put the cost of work up builders did for the customer. With how scared people are with the way the economy is, many people are deciding to put the building work on hold. Then the small business owners who have purchased equipment cant afford to keep up the payments – so sell it. This makes it harder to keep the business going. Affiliate marketing as a business model is becoming very popular all over the world. 1000s of people are starting to become affiliates for many different businesses. But after a while, quit because they don’t get the results promised. Here I will explain WHY that is and where so many people are going wrong in affiliate marketing. Online there are so many opportunities to enable you to be able to quit your 9 to 5 job, one of the easiest business models is affiliate marketing. Done correct however. Affiliate marketing is where you recommend somebody else’s product of service to an audience. In return, the person who owns that product will pay you a commission. These commission can be a set figure of anything between 10% - 90% depending on the product. As the affiliate for that product, you don’t have to deal with returns of any of the customer support. This is why affiliate marketing is so appealing. Unfortunately, people enter into the world of affiliate marketing with very high expectations, then when they are not met – they quit. Because of the opportunity to make so much money very quickly people are drawn towards shortcuts. Shortcut To Affiliate Marketing The biggest shortcut in affiliate marketing is high ticket. This is where a person signed up to a training course at an average cost of 1k-10k and then have the option to be an affiliate for that training. Its seen as a win win situation. You get the training on how affiliate marketing works and a product to sell as an affiliate. This is where you jump in the training program for $5000. The creator of the program gets $3000 and the person who told you about it gets $2000. That’s you hooked, someone recommended it to you, so you could do the same right? The training is all about how to become an affiliate for the training course you just invested in. So every time you recommend that training to someone you get $2000. The creator of the course has 100s of people doing this every day. Each time making $3000 and paying the affiliates $2000. The course has a number of recorded videos that the creator make a few years ago, they may add a new one every now and again. But also you are invited to join a unique group on Facebook, where everyone who has invested 5k into the course can support each other. Who Make The Most Money From The Training? This is how I found out with research the truth! With a program that’s been going for more than 3 years, lets say 36 months. A group with 500 members. On average over a 12 month period there are 9 new members into the group a month. Spending lets say 3k to join the training program. The commission each person would be making a month is $18. But lets say that its only 10 people out of the 500 having success. That’s $900 a month. However you look at it its not a lot of money in reality to really replace your 9 to 5. There are a number of these high ticket training courses set up all over the world. With the only person actually making money is The Creator. So the next step to fix this and earn some good money is to become a coach yourself. Becoming A Coach Hang about, the course you invested in to begin with was all about affiliate marketing. You need another course to teach you how to become a coach, so you sign up to that. Then you also become an affiliate for the coaching program. It all just becomes a huge mess leading you down a path that’s doomed to fail. You quit your job only to find you have less time because now you are providing support to different students all over the world in different time zones. This blog post is aimed more towards the trades men and women of the world. If you know the term on the tools, it means you work with your hands – you’re a grafter! I’m not sure if that’s a load of slang in the UK and you guys across the world will actually understand what I’m on about here. On The Tools Employees and Off the Tools Employees There are people who go out to the work in business and there people who work in the office, Doing the paper work. If your out on site, you look at the guys in the office and see there job as easy – and aspire to be in their position one day. That’s if you work your way up in the company. You’re a good employee and get moved up to the next level as a reward. This is something I did years ago. I worked for a electrical company on the tools doing the installs on site. I always thought working in the office would be more glamorous and would earn me more money. Possibly and easier life I suppose. That’s what you work towards right? An easy life and more money in the bank? Well there was a lesson to be learnt from back then. I didn’t do anything about it at the time – but I see it so clearly NOW. Got Off The Tools 😁I got that job in the office, planning the jobs on site, given the fancy company car and wearing a shirt to work. This lasted a week! I was more mind numbing then watching paint dry. I would have earnt less money working a 8 hour day instead of the 12 hours days I worked on the tools. Needed A Plan B So what did I do from there? I went ahead and started my own business where I did both and worked probably more then 12 hours days and made better money. That is what I did for 20 years or more, I just got wrapped up in growing my electrical business thinking it was going to be the answer to a happy life. I was happy, But dam I was always busy! I never had time to sit back and think about the future. Where did I want to be – what did I want to do. Work hard and make plenty of money – that was the plan. Spend it on nice things to make me look good in front of people who didn’t care what I had. 🤔 So many of us do this. We want to put out an image of ourselves being this successful person who has all these luxury things. At the end of the day these material things mean nothing! Just like moving off the tools and into the office environment. I’m not office kind of guy. Sitting down for hours a day I get ants in my pants and want to move around. I really just wanted to work in an office to look good. Society respects a person in a shirt and tie more then a person with a sweaty t shirt and work boots. When in reality there equal. Or even in some company’s the person in the t shirt out on site doing the work actually keeps that business afloat! If you are one of these people who are on the tools and aspire to be off the tools, the holy grail proof that you have made it. Take a step back. Ask yourself – Why? Where do you want it to go? What are you looking to achieve for YOU, not anyone else. Even consider the job you are doing. Some jobs are just pointless and leading your life nowhere. To be able to make $100 a month you will need a big investment To maintain the income, its simple – just keep holding the stocks. Is YouTube a lot of work? It is indeed. Its not a matter of making a video and you get 1000 likes overnight. Any likes on some occasions. But the more work you put in, the more passive income you can make. The more videos you make on YouTube the more money you can make over time. The initial work to start a YouTube channel is a lot of work, especially to be able to qualify for monetization. But once you hit those targets its very easy to make more then $100 a month in passive income. Then to maintain that passive income, continue to grow the channel just by doing what you have already done. Many people create website marketing using affiliate marketing. To eventually create a passive income overtime. With an existing audience, incorporating affiliate marketing into the mix becomes a lot easier. Affiliate marketing is where you recommend a persons or company’s product in exchange for a commission. This is why there is so many review websites out there filled with affiliate links to different products. Even though you may not be aware of it, but every major company has an affiliate program. Where they use affiliate markets to create campaigns for them and pay them a commission on each sale. This works well for affiliate marketers and the company, maybe why its so popular online. Its been built into us so deep that so many people, including myself never even question if there is another way to make money. A way that your not tied down to working 8 hours a day or even more in a lot of situations. Everyone Is Becoming Wise To 9to5 Jobs Lately all over the world I see so many people taking a step back from being involved in the common system of working a job. Where people used to value the position they were in and have worked up to in a career. I think that they have taken a step back and looked at what’s important in their life. Where a busy business man would be working 12 hours a day to provide for his family and give them everything they ever wanted, but the only thing he couldn’t give then was himself. For the reason is that it came as a cost. If he was to be home more often and spend more time around his family, he would suffer fanatically. Then assume that his wife would want to be with him with out the louis Louis Vuitton hand bag, the kids would hate him because dad didn’t buy them the latest phone. Is that a life you want to lead, buying the love of your family for material things? I think that was maybe in the position I was in. As an electrician I earnt good money. I will admit, I bought everything that made my family smile and love me more. When myself I was desperately looking for a way out. A way to earn more money so I could take the dog for a long walk across the fields in the daylight with out having 101 things on my mind to do when I got home. These days all the Christmas presents are clothes or money. These things mean nothing. The best thing about Christmas for me is the family dinner and getting to talk to everyone and see how they are, then of course sitting down and having a game of monopoly which everyone things I cheat at! I don’t – I just buy everything as soon as I can. Great lessons to be learnt with that game around money. Every single day is the same. You have 24 hours. What is important to you, you not going to live forever! Find out what makes you want to get up in the morning, what makes you excited. Then do more of that! Have a goal in mind that if you like fishing, you plan to make more time to go fishing. Figure out how much money you need to survive and be able to play golf one day a week. STOP aiming to have as much money as possible with the goal in mind that you will go fishing when you get there. What if you never get there? Will you die trying and live with regrets? Or lets say you do financially well and reach your goal. Retire at the age of 67 with a shit load of money!💲 But unfortunately, your health isn’t good so the plans you had when you retire have to change. You watch the golf on the TV instead of actually being there and taking part yourself. I will say it again! You have one life here on this planet – make the most of it. The 12 hours a day you have been working for the past 20 years to buy all the stuff you have means nothing! You may have the money to buy all the great equipment you need to do the things you always wanted – but your body is too old now. What would you rather people say at your funeral? Standing in a car park wasting your life in the middle of traffic, waving your arms back and forward. Even though there’s no other direction to go! What is the actual point of that job! I admit, they person is getting paid to just stand there and wave their arms, but what a way to be wasting your life away. If your going to do anything to earn money, at least do something that’s going to be mentally stimulating – not pay you to be a zombie and waste your life away. This Is Something We All Go Through This is what got me thinking and got me to research are there other jobs out there that are a complete waste of time or a pointless job. If you need money, I get it you need a job. But go at it with a plan. A plan to progress up in that career or actually learn something. Not be a human traffic cone. When I was younger I went through so many jobs. Me, my brother and a couple of my friends signed up to an agency. We basically has a different job every week. As we all know that the job wouldn’t progress anywhere – we didn’t care. We just got paid to turn up to these pointless jobs. To be honest we didn’t even do much to get paid. Just being on site and cocking in on the machine was enough. The Bakery Job One job we were paid to watch dough in a bakery go along a coveter belt. It was going straight into a machine and being made into a loaf of bread. Four of us stood in a line about 10 meters apart. It was sooooo mind numbing. Every now and again a piece of dough would come past in the shape of a willy, then one with a face print… The faceprint you could tell who it was, so that job only lasted a week.😀 Nothing happened though, there were rails for the dough not to fall off – why the hell were we even there! Order Picking On The Agency - Wasting Your Life If you work in a factory where you are in charge or the order pickers. DO NOT have agency workers – They don’t care. The fulltime pickers who take the job serious and don’t race around on the pallet trucks, they must be brain dead. Getting a list of items and picking it from a warehouse to be sent out every day for a week was enough for me. The fact that it was Easter and we were picking Easter eggs too.😋 Four 18 year old lads……… Yep, we ate a lot of them. You Need To Start Somewhere These types of jobs are proper ground level. If you going to do them have a plan to move up at least. I have a friend who started out picking years ago, now he is the manager. That’s what you want to do. But I suppose its down to the individual and how they choose to waste their life. Some people are happy standing there all day sticking straw to the Capri sun juice cartons. To go home every week with £500 for 10 years. Others want the world. A credit card that got no limits, a bathroom you can play baseball in. But you have to be prepared to work for it with ambition and drive. The thing is you don’t need a big ambition or a lot of drive, you just need some. Some can turn into a lot over time slowly. DONT Keep Wasting Your Life I think I have always had a huge ambition, maybe too big sometimes. But I when I want something, I aim for it and try really hard to get there. Small things like I wanted to take up snowboarding, so did some lessons and started to go every year. I wanted to ride a stupidly fast motorbike, so did my full license and bought a fast bike. I wanted to quit being an electrician, so looked into things and quit to earn a living online. My partner always says to me what’s next? When are you going to be happy? That’s the thing, I am happy. Business were forced to close their doors and stop trading with no choose, because it was illegal to open. This is where it all began……… A number of company’s not just in the UK, but all over the world suffered because of this. They had no other option but to cease trading because the money had just run out. However the government decided to create a bounce back loan. For a businesses that did manage to reopen, they were given money to help them get back on their feet. A life line, there was light at the end of the tunnel at last.✨ The UK in 2020 itself was in £2069 billion pounds worth of debt already. How the hell they pulled that one off – god knows. Then came along another challenge. The War in Ukraine. I personally went out to Poland to take some supplies to the people of Ukraine. Along the way I met so many people from all over the world pulling together to help as much as they could. Credit to the human race for that. But back the UK economy crisis for now. Why did the war in Ukraine effect the UK? It didn’t just effect the UK. It effected the whole world. Because of who Ukraine is at war with – Russia. Typically Norway is the largest supplier of gas to the UK. But Russia does contribute to it too. Cutting out the trading with Russia has boosted the fuel prices sky high. This had a knock on effect with the logistics of transport of goods all over the UK. Boosting the price of everything up, even food in the supermarkets. The Cost Of Fuel With most of our vehicles in the UK being powered by fuel, you can understand why company’s had to cover the costs. It’s the big company’s such as BP, Shell and British Gas only went and rubbed the population of the UK nose in it by announcing the tripling profits it made from the price increase. It really does feel like there is a separation of classes in the world, when the already rich and wealthy make even more money. When the people who nurse us back to health, teach our children in schools and the workmen who build houses for us to live in, struggle to pay the bills. It’s a no win situation for the UK to be in. Imagine if 10k people decided not to pay their energy bills. What would happen? Now I understand that running a country is a tough job, this is why we have had a number of Prime ministers quit when the going get tough already. But come on! There is defiantly a batter solution to the current one we have. The cost of living in the UK is going up, not slowly like it has don’t over the years. Rapidly – so fast that the current wages that people are paid don’t anywhere near support their current life style. We jump through all the hopes we are told to. Say goodbye to that one holiday a year you looked forward to. Now there’s a choice, holiday or heating! After the announcement of 45 billion pounds of unfunded tax cuts the British pound to fall to it lowest level ever against the US dollar. It been happening for years but some people have been able to break away from working to live. A job or a career is looked at a life style. As something your labeled as: Or Don’t you want to be remembered for something better in life, then just the career you choose when you were a teenager? Conditioned To Be Poor And In Poverty Think about when you were at school and you were taught to be a “good” student. Answer the questions in a specific way, the way that you had been taught in the lesson all year. Never told to think outside the box and be creative and invent new ideas of solutions that could actually be a better method. No! You were told to do things a certain way, then if you dared to try something different – you got in trouble. Most of the time taught by a teacher who is Poor and in Poverty too. Either that or your friends would take the mick out of you if it failed. There was an experiment a lecturer did once. He wrote a number or equations on the board in front of a class. Until he got to 10 x 8 =81 He turned round to the class and they were laughing. There’s a lesson to be leant there. All the way up to 10 x 8 the class just sat and watched, they said noting. As soon as they spotted a mistake – they laughed.🤣 Didn’t correct him, just decided to make fun of the 1 he got wrong. Although the 9 he got correct, there wasn’t any comment. That’s what wrong with society these days. We are mate to feel ashamed or stupid every time we do something wrong. This is what stops us wanting to take any risks in life, there fore stay poor and in poverty. Fear of failure! So what do most of us do? Follow what we are told and get a job working for someone else and work out way up in the company. When there is a unique 12 year old girl who decided to do what she wanted and make crazy videos you YouTube to eventually earn in a week what I did in a year. The thing is it’s the easy route getting a 9 to 5 job. You turn up – do your 8 hours and get paid a wage. Every month the same. So you can budget your lifestyle around that. Once you get to a position you have a mortgage, car finance and 3 credit cards you use for holiday – its even more of a risk to change that cycle. Things Can Change If You Want Then To If things were to change from when we were young. We were told to be creative and encouraged that when we fail, we learn from it. That what didn’t work – we wont do that again. I think the would could be filled with so many great solutions to a number of problems we have created around the world over the years. Take electric cars for example. Did you know the idea came about in 1890. Ok it only did 14mph so didn’t really take off. But that idea never evolved until Elon Musk released the Roadster in 2008. With environment issues getting noticed all over the world – Electric cars were seen as a solution. And now in 2022 nearly every brand of car has bought out and electric model. I would love to know what actually happened in 1890 and why the electric car never evolved all these years ago. I would guess that because the petrol cars in 1890 did 35mph, the electric one got put on the shelf. Break The Cycle Of Being Poor There are more and more people beginning to think outside the box these days. From people building a you tube channel around reviews on products and making a huge amount of money to another person helping others get better sleep as a business. When so many businesses sink in a recession, there are some that thrive. How do they do it and how can you do the same to make sure you don’t sink with everyone else. The recession all over the world is looming on us all, we are just waiting for the powers that be to actually say – its here. People are already facing financial trouble with the energy prices going up. The next step will be people losing there homes that they have worked so hard for all these years. Saving Your Money For A Rainy Day I used to look at money as a something you kept safe, never let go, to be able to call yourself rich. I’m no economist or financial adviser but its clear to me that this all started with the pandemic in 2020. Back in 2019 you could start a business and with hard work it would become successful over time. You would get more customers, begin to employ people and be able to get good prices for buying your raw materials in bulk. You business would grow bigger and better the older it becomes. Then we were all told to stay at home!!!😕 Close up shop, it was illegal to open your business to the public. It was crazy times that have never ever happened in the world before, even MacDonald's was forced to close it doors – and that never closes. No one was prepared for this, nobody saw this coming and nobody knew what to do. So many business had to go bust and lose everything that had worked for. Others took on a loan from the bank to be able to get back on their feet, only for them to have to pay back the loan later down the line. This Should Of Worked The company’s that did take the loan had less competition as some of the other business closed down. This would mean there would be more customers to come and help the business grow. However – then another obstacle was in the way. The price of raw materials sky rocketed.🔺 Weather you’re a builder, restaurant owner or car mechanic. The costs to run that business just went up. Not buy a small amount either. It was an extortionate amount, where again some business couldn’t survive. I know a mechanic who would have been able to survive, but even if he was able to chare customers the crazy prices for parts – he wasn’t able to get them. There were 50k cars sat around in his garage waiting for parts for around 6 months. It wasn’t as if the business that went under were poorly run too. With all the hurdles put in the way, it just wasn’t cost effective to keep the business going. Now you can see why I say that the world is in recession. Its not over yet. Many Big Company's Ride Out Recession A lot of bigger companies with a good amount of money behind them are still trying to ride it out. With fuel and energy prices being a huge factor, weather they survive or not. Recession doesn’t only bring doom and gloom........
