He was kind enough to share his thoughts with me on his experiences as a black male student, the BLM movement, even the common misconception most white teachers (including me!) have about young black males in their classes.
I thoroughly enjoyed our time together, and I learned so much.
Zema is a unique perspective in a troubled world. I am blessed to know him.
