Hmmm hmmm Where Have All the Shepherds Goooone? This episode we dive into not only what is new here at Fiberton Acres, but also talk about the decline of raising sheep in the US. Was it WWII? Is it predators? Is it the loss of the family farm? Was it that goats got better branding? (Are we getting a bit defensive?) Probably the answer is yes to all these things and more! Tune in the learn more and don't forget to share!

This week we wanted to talk a little about how farmer's might get ready for the planting season, which morphed into a show about the Farmer's Almanac. Check out some of the history and our ramblings about the Jackyl song, The Lumberjack.
This week we talk coyotes. Ric may have been a little confused on the subject matter, but as we have had some coyotes close by on the farm as of late, Ashley wanted to learn more about them. They say the key to assuaging fear is to learn more about it. But not 100% sure that worked in this case.
As we wrap up 2016, we thought we would share a little review of Fiberton Acres and how we moved it all across the country...or attempted to. If you ever thought you had car troubles...well...we feel ya. Check out part one of our crazy story and be on the lookout for part two soon!
This week we talk about some produce we are missing in this cold, cold weather....the tomato! In addition to giving you some true, but silly, facts about the tomato, we fill you in a little on this week on the farm, including a few recipes we tried this week. And, we are announcing the release of our Patreon page! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/Fibertonacres!

This week on Fiberton Acres Ric chooses the subject to cover...of fences! We know, we know...but we share stories of fences in a new light (the only light?) and include some fun facts and tales from our experiences...especially with electric fencing.
