Forming in early 2006 at the Welch school Cardiff University, Los Campesinos! is a seven-piece indie rock band. Everyone in the band has adopted "Campesinos!" as his/her last name, a spanish word that literally translates to "country person," as a way to connect themselves together as well as their fans.
