It is only the 3rd time in the more than 50 year history of the school that girls soccer team has reached the third round of the playoffs. Cody Futrell talks to coach Chris Barron about the 20 win season and the rise of a program that made huge strides under previous coach Trey Long and is now in position to make its deepest playoff run in history.

Burnette is a 4x state champion and grew up in the shadow of NBA great Elvin Hayes in Rayville, LA before playing with and coaching with ULM most winningest coach Mike Vining.
