Red River Radio has a heavy heart with the loss of longtime commentator Archie McDonald whose "Friday morning follies" have been a fixture on our station for more than a decade. Dr. McDonald passed away Aug. 16 from an illness. He served on the Stephen F. Austin State University faculty for more than 40 years and was beloved in the Nacogdoches community. He was the executive director of the East Texas Historical Association for many years and wrote or edited books, journals and articles....
