WBOR (91.1 FM) is a noncommercial, educational, and community public radio station licensed to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. The station is housed in the basement of the Dudley Coe Health Center on the Bowdoin College campus, and its 300-watt signal is broadcast from the top of the Coles Tower. WBOR is heard throughout the Midcoast area of Maine and streams online at wbor.org. WBOR strives to be an outlet for Bowdoin Polar Bears (students, faculty, staff), and Brunswick community members to express themselves in a welcoming community of creative folk. In doing so, WBOR aspires to create quality, independent programming that represents the diversity of the Bowdoin and Midcoast community while providing a unique student-run alternative to standard commercial radio.
