The Walls of Jericho (Part 1)

5/21/2020
Did the walls of Jericho come tumbling down at the time indicated in the book of Joshua? For many years, Jericho has been a "problem" in Biblical archaeology since scholars claimed that there was no city there at the time of Joshua, and therefore the Bible must be in error. Biblical archaeologist Dr. Bryant Wood, and members of the ABR staff, discuss the archaeological findings at Jericho that relate to the conquest of the Canaanite city by the Israelites. This is part one of a two part interview. Support the Show.

The Collonades to Herod's Temple

5/20/2020
Josephus was given the job of recording history by the Romans because he was so accurate and detailed. Yet the Jews, and most Christians, choose to ignore his information about Herod's Temple. Josephus records that two arms or collonades extended from the Roman Antonia Fortress to the Temple. The model of Jerusalem and the Temple totally ignores this important feature and misleads people about the layout of Jerusalem and the Temple prior to the Roman destruction in 70 A.D. Fortress Antonia and the True Temple Mount Location

5/20/2020
See why modern historians have Herod's Jerusalem Temple and the Antonia Fortress in locations where they could never possibly have been. By referencing the historical writings of Flavius Josephus, an actual eye-witness to the Temple, before and during its destruction, the author conclusively proves that what most people think is the Temple Mount is actually the location of the Roman Fortress Antonia. The Temples of Solomon and Herod

5/20/2020
Can you imagine the upheaval in political and religious thinking if the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is not the site of Solomon's and Herod's temples? And what if the stones of the Wailing Wall are not what tradition says? In this highly-researched, exciting podcast, the author proposes from current archaeological excavations, and Scriptural corroboration, that the true temple location is NOT where tradition teaches. The Underwater Bridge

5/19/2020
This concluding episode documents the underwater bridge the robotic camera discovered that runs from the beach at Nuweiba to Saudi Arabia, and how it was fully capable of providing a pathway for Moses and the Israelites to cross. Finally, the route taken by the Israelites from the Nile Delta to the mountain of Sinai is re-examined with remarks about the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea. (We disagree with the method used for the dating of the Egyptian dynasty -- but this is a minor point in the overall presentation). Support the Show.
