On this Wednesday morning in the Heart of the Riverbend... we are kicking things off with Patrick Simon and the Calhoun County Fair! Happening September 5th-8th, Patrick will detail all of the events, and excitement that we can be a part of! Then at 10:35, AHS Soccer Coach Greg Nasello joins Cj in the studio. CJ and his dad will discuss the summer workouts, and how the team is looking ahead of the fall!

On this Tuesday in the heart of the Riverbend, we kick the morning off with Vern Van Hoy, and Mary Cambell- with Spencer T Olin Golf Course. Last week, the renowned course reopened to the public to much excitement. The two will join CJ to detail the major hardships they faced this summer, and what it means to the course, and the area to have it reopened. Ray Morales- the new General Manager of Rolling Hills joins CJ at 10:35 to fil us in on his excitement with this new position. He will detail how it came about, and what it means for Rolling Hills going forward!

On This Monday in the Heart of the Riverbend... we are starting the day off with Steve Marso, the Owner of the Alton River Dragons. Steve will join CJ via phone to discuss the reopening of Gordon F Moore Community Park. He will discuss the season as a whole, dealing with the sinkhole, and his thoughts going forward. Mike Weller, and AP Cigar join CJ to discuss the upcoming After Hours Event, which makes it's debut on the last Thursday of each Month! He will give us all of the details, and more! At 10:35, we are talking to Alton High Athletic Director Chris Kusnerick! He will preview the start of AHS Athletics this year, along with details of upcoming games at West, and other opportunities to support our student athletes!

This Friday morning in the Heart of the Riverbend, we will start the morning off with Megan Tyler! She will be joining us to bring us the latest from Sacred Spaces of CARE! Megan will detail all of the amazing work they have done in the community, and what is coming down the pipeline next! Then at 10:10, we are talking with Amanda Wilkinson and Momentum Lactation! Momentum Lactation was founded in 2017 with the goal of providing greater access to breastfeeding support in the Edwardsville and St. Louis Metro Area. We will learn about how the idea developed and how they can help you! At 10:35, we are talking with Linda Sutton and the Class of 1974! They are celebrating their 50th reunion! Linda will break down the event, and share some memories from the Class of 1974!

On This Thursday in the Heart of the Riverbend, we are starting things off with Clarinda and Charlie Rae! The Edwardsville staple has become a Go-To spot for all things clothing in the region. Clarinda will fill us in on Charlie Rae's story, and how they have gotten to where they are today. We will also learn of any and all upcoming opportunities to support them in terms of sales, and events! PLUS at 10:35, we are joined by Rob Honke- Alton Marina! The Anniversary Party is on August 24th, and Rob will bring us all of the details and so much more!

The band Little Victory, represented by Alton-based record label Harbor Music, released their single “Asleep at the Wheel” on July 31, 2024! Nick will fill us in on his excitement for the group, plus husband-and-wife duo Vince and Erika Camerano join us all via Zoom to give us their feedback as well! Robe Honke joins us at 10:35 for an update on the Marina's Anniversary Party! Rob will fill us in on how the year has been, and his excitement ahead of the Marina's Anniversary!

The summer TourCo production of "The Tempest" kicks off this week and there are a ton of opportunities to see it here in the Illinois side of the St. Louis Metro East.
