F&F C2-E126 - Who's D!ck Did I Just Slap?

4/17/2026
Last we left off, the Tempests had set out through the Orc Lands to head north after completing their task in destroying the Bloodmoon Clan. The journey so far had been rather uneventful, with the various Orc Clans seeming to have sequestered themselves after the potential loss of their deity, Ghamborz. The Tempests made their way to Gloomwren pass, the one 'safe passage' through the mountains. Though they encountered no enemies, something foul was on the air. Literally. The stench of rot and decay drifted on the breeze all through the night with no discernable source anywhere nearby. It wasn't until the morning sun rose above the peaks behind them did they start to see what might be the source. Ahead of them and down the winding mountain path laid the sandy dunes of the West. Moriko's sharp eyes, having never seen the desert before, still noted something amiss. A large black scar across the dunes. We rejoin them now as they continue down the mountain path into the Untamed West once more. We have merch! F&F C2-E125 - I'm a Belligerent God

4/3/2026
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests are deep within the Orc Lands. With their promise to Lakin kept, and a new task given to them by Ceto, they had many things to plan for. After plotting their course, they tasked Cassie with heading North West towards the Gloomwren pass that would allow them egress into the desert where their adventure first began. With Lakin now amongst the living, Zaan wanted to introduce the re-born Orc to Fern's cafe, only to find the passageway through the pantry collapsed. Trying and failing to not panic, Zaan desperately reached out to his booty call and see what was going on. According to the Tabaxi Lieutenant, things were bad in Harpermere. The King and Queen were dead and things were in turmoil. Only after Pez questioned why Zaan thought to check on Yvonne and not Fern, did he realize that he was a dumbass and contacted one of their closest friends. Fern claimed to be okay, but there was much going on and little time to converse past the one spell. Pez then took a moment to use the book of sending to contact his Sister in the West. Though she was reportedly safe, she expressed concerns with the world's current state as well. A behemoth of a beast was reportedly roaming around the desert, laying waste to anything and everything around the main railway. To take their minds off of things for a while, and also to try out his new gifts, Lakin challenged Zaan to a friendly duel that got a bit more heated than Lakin was expecting and quickly put the rabbit in his place. Later the next day, the Tempests came upon a bridge that would allow them to cross the river that splits the region down the middle... guarded by a single goblin. They spent little time in wording their way around the goblin's senses and convinced him that he was far superior than the rest of his clan and sent him on his way. Crossing the bridge with ease, Pez and Lakin took a moment to destroy the bridge to further hinder the orc clans and continued North again. We rejoin them now at the 'dawn' of a new day amidst a torrential downpour as they attempt to find their way towards Gloomwren pass. We have merch! F&F C2-E124 - You aren't UGLY.. You're MISSHAPEN!

3/20/2026
Last we left off, the Tempests were deep in orcish lands, their target: The Bloodmoon Clan. But an outright assault wasn't the plan. First, they would take out the chief known as Ta Bloodrage. Approaching the encampment from the water, the Tempests snuck in close, then gave the signal to Bogbo to begin his distraction. And what a distraction it was! The little goblin unleashed the air elemental lent to him to lay waste to the outskirts of the clan's base. The ruckus drew the attention of the rest of the Bloodmoon clan, include Ta, which drew the chief out of her abode and into the open. The Tempests wasted little time in assaulting the orc chieftess. She was not so easily killed however, and appeared to be quite powerful, creating duplicates of herself around the village and slipping through the fingers of the Tempests at every turn... Until Ta Bloodrage cried out in frustration and dropped her facade. The image of a ritualistic female orc dropped, revealing the visage of The Speaker as he summoned more of his wordlings to surround Zaan. So focused was he on Zaan however, he didn't notice Moriko coming up behind him in her water elemental form and WHELMED HIM. With no way to speak, the Speaker was trapped within the elemental and was an easy target for Pez's fireball spell which ended the Speaker in a boiling tomb. As the rest of the Tempests gathered to discuss their next steps, Lakin took off to assist Bogbo in finishing off the rest of the Bloodmoon Clan. With the remaining Bloodmoons scattered and fleeing, the party considered the job complete and headed back to their wagon, Cassie. Along the way, Lakin felt an urgent pull that had him straying towards the water. Urging his fellows to go back to the wagon, Lakin took off for the water's edge and found Ceto there waiting for him in her colossal form. The sea goddess brought mostly bad tidings for Lakin.. The world was in turmoil. Many of her brethren deities were missing, or in the case of Coyote, in hiding, after being attacked by Saedhir's minions. In light of all that had occurred, Ceto considered her bargain with Lakin complete in the hopes that her champion would be able to turn his rage towards Saedhir and his followers instead. Ceto then granted Lakin's desire and returned his life to him. No longer an undead orc, Lakin took his time returning to the wagon to meet his very surprised party members. We rejoin them now as they travel through the night to the north, Lakin laying nekkid on the roof and sleeping for the first time in centuries. We have merch! F&F C2-E123 - Get WHELMED Idiot

3/6/2026
Picking up where we last left off, things in the world of Archeron are getting worse. After thoroughly defeating the Bloodmoon Clan patrol, Lakin yoinked a soul and a body from the slain which allowed him to do a little spiritual reconnaissance and quite possibly invent a new war crime. It's not a war crime the first time however, and Lakin diligently started to stitch the goblin corpse back together after firing it out of a cannon at a nearby tree. The Tempests began moving South once more, heading deeper into Bloodmoon territory and began discussing their tactics for assaulting the encampment. During the discussion, talks arose once more about the dwindling magic capabilities of the locals, and Zaan asked Lakin to commune with Cadall so the harengon could ask a few questions. The connection made, the speaker was not who Zaan expected. What seemed to be Saedhir spoke back in monosyllabic desire and hunger. Thoroughly freaked out, the spell ended with Lakin experiencing hunger for the first time in centuries and proceeded to try and eat Zaan's meat stores while still incorporeal. With more questions than answers, the Tempests continued south to finish the job they were certain they could handle at the moment. Choosing to take the stealthier route to remove the head of the clan, Ta Bloodrage, rather than assaulting the camp head on. Because as Bogbo claimed, "Take out the leaders and the little ones scatter." We rejoin them now with about half a day's journey left until they reach the Bloodmoon Clan's camp. We have merch! F&F C2-E122 - Why'd You Have to Call Him DADDY??

2/20/2026
Last time on the Tales of Archeron, the Tempests made their way into the Orc Lands and rescued Pez's forever friend and companion, Hambjerger, a small velociraptor who now seemed capable of growing to immense size after his rebirth thanks to a blessing given to him by the deity, Coyote. But the Tempests weren't done here. Lakin has a task left to complete. A promise. A Pact made with the deity Ceto to eliminate a tribe known as the Bloodmoon Clan who were polluting her shores. Returning to the Mountaintooth clan to report their successful hunt, many unknowns and uncertainties made themselves known. Their guide Bogbo seemed to have lost his ability to manifest his psychic daggers. Rellka the Shaman of the Mountaintooth clan felt uneasy, and when prompted, seemed unable to cast her own magic. - Pez's spells seemed to falter and struggle to complete. Many attempts to speak with the party's individual deities were made, and many did not answer. Though a bit shaken by these events, the Tempests had made a promise to help Lakin with his task, and they intended to see that promise through. The Tempests headed south towards the Bloodmoon clan and came upon a patrol heading north. Lakin, Pez, and Bogbo flew out to investigate and kidnapped one of the goblins in the patrol to question them. When the goblin's usefulness came to an end, he was promptly dealt with by letting gravity do it's job. We rejoin them now as Pez finishes tossing a fireball at the patrol and eliminates a sizeable chunk of their forces. We have merch! F&F C2-E121 - That's Because You're Really Stupid

2/6/2026
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests returned to the continent of Drago to find an old friend, and to commit a wee bit'o genocide. After a short stint in High Tide to give their sentient cart Cassie some upgrades, they headed inland to the Orc Tribe's territory. Their guide, Bogbo, led them north along the foot of the mountains to find the Mountaintooth clan, who were widely regarded as the smartest group of greenskins. Though irritating, the Mountaintooth Chieftain gave them directions on where to find a so-called 'White Death' that was new to the area and was causing them some strife, namely displacing an infamous creature known as an Aashkaht. Tracking the White Death to 'The Old Vein', an abandoned mine owned by the Mountaintooth clan, they discovered that this new beastie was their resurrected friend Hambjerger: A murderous little velociraptor and forever friend and companion of Pez. Returning to Cassie, the Tempests found that she was under attack by an Aashkaht and quickly leapt to her rescue. Though it was a formidable beast, it was no match for the Tempests and Hambjerger who seems to have gained the ability to grow in size. We rejoin the Tempests now as they return to the Mountaintooth Clan after slaying the Aashkaht and night begins to fall. We have merch! F&F C2-E119 - I'm DRIPPING With Charisma

1/23/2026
Last we left off, the Tempests returned to Drago, making a lengthy pitstop in High Tide, the pirate stronghold, to make a few upgrades to their sentient wagon before heading off into the Orc Lands. After almost a week of waiting, everything was set for the next leg of their adventure, with Cassie gaining six new legs to play with! They headed across the mountains with Bogbo as their guide and very quickly came upon signs of a legendary beast's territory: the Aashkaht. But the Tempests weren't about to let a mythical beast slow them down. No sir! Onward they traveled in search of the nearest Orc encampment belonging to the Mountaintooth Clan. Though they arrived late in the evening, the Tempests were allowed to stay outside the clan's settlement until the morning, wherein they encountered a rather unpleasant goblin chief, Clorm. After numerous threats of putting the goblin in Lakin's soul cage, they learned of another creature encroaching on the Aashkaht's territory, causing the fire beast to travel further south and harass the Mountaintooth clan. Based on the vague descriptions given, the Tempests assumed it was their kobold's reincarnated companion Hambjerger and set off to see if this was, in fact, their little velociraptor. We rejoin them now as they head further north in search of 'The Old Vein', a mine that this White Death had taken as their lair. We have merch! F&F C2-E119 - I'm DRIPPING With Charisma

1/9/2026
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests finally managed to return to the continent of Drago, making landfall once more in High Tide. With one more leg of their journey complete, they began planning for their next one: venturing into the orc lands to find a friend and to eliminate a couple tribes. But the journey won’t be easy. They’re planning on taking their sentient cart Cassie with them, though the danger of her getting stuck is high. But Pez has a plan! Why not cart with legs instead of wheels? And so, designs were drawn, materials bought, and artisans commissioned to upgrade the cart to survive the marshy, swamp-like region of the desolate orc lands. Under the advice of Volcaro, they enlisted the help of a Goblin that is said to be their best choice for a guide. Impulsive, smelly, easily convinced, and a bit sticky fingered, Bogbo was hired to help lead them through the orc lands to their destinations and beyond. We rejoin them now as time slips by and their plans get underway. We have merch! F&F C2-E118 - We Brake for NO ONE

12/26/2025
Last we left off, the Tempests were making their way West across the Alboran Sea to get back to the continent of Drago. There waited a misplaced friend, and a couple clans of greenskins that Lakin was charged with wiping off the map. The journey was anything but smooth sailing, but in the end, it was nothing the Tempests couldn't handle! The final hurdle was making it across the wide expanse of water to get to High Tide, the pirate stronghold. Though it would seem like the request would be somewhat difficult, Kasumi requested a favor from the local thieves guild. The request was graciously granted, and the Velvet Dagger called in a favor of his own to have a ship take the Tempests and their Wagon Home to the other side of the world. Climbing aboard the Mirthless Gull, they set off for High Tide! Along the way, Pez and Lakin began working on a cursed project... Giving Cassie, their Wagon home, LEGS! Though a bit short on materials, the design was in place and progress underway. We rejoin them now after a week of being on the water with High Tide coming into view. We have merch! F&F C2-E117 - It's Big to Me

12/7/2025
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests are working diligently to head back West to the continent of Drago. From dragon attacks, to a false priest closing down the port, it hasn't been an easy task. But with Lakin being determined to unveil a false priest, it seems their pathway Westward will once again open up. The High Priest of Ceto, or rather, the false priest Nereus, was confronted with truths unveiled by Lakin's connection with Ceto. Revealed before all who were in attendance in the Ariminum Pantheon. Rather than sticking around to partake in his punishment, the High Priest summoned creatures of living script to fight off the Tempests, while he ran off, going invisible and somehow covering a large distance in mere moments. After a fruitless attempt to give chase, the Tempests returned to the wharf and settled in once more at the Golden Eel to rest up and plan their next steps. We rejoin them now as the early morning rays begin to wake the city of Ariminum. We have merch! F&F C2-E116 - "Cunth" is Orcish for LIAR!

11/28/2025
Last time on the Tales of Archeron, the Tempests were working their way back west towards Drago to help Lakin fulfill his quest, and to rescue an old companion. Their progress was hindered however, as a Dragon attack seems to have put the people of Ariminum on edge, and all outward travel was halted. Finding this development both irritating and questionable, the Tempests began digging around.. and they certainly found some things. Kasumi's sharp eyes accidentally discovered the local thieves guild and though they didn't receive outright support, the guild master gave them the go-ahead to find answers for him, on the condition that bloodshed be the last option. He quite enjoys his mess-free city after all. Lakin communed with Ceto while sitting at the bottom of the ocean and learned that the local High Priest was not, in fact, one of hers and didn't not speak for the goddess. Fairly enraged, Lakin began thinking of a multitude of ways to kill this phony priest, but was discourage by his companions as they already had their fill of being incarcerated criminals. It seemed that exposing this false priest was going to be a bit tricky.. But Lakin has a plan.. Speaking loudly to any Ceto-fearing-sailor that would listen, he began spreading the word that Ceto wasn't really upset with the Romanan people, and that a display of her real intentions would be revealed when the stars shine bright in the sky.. We rejoin them now as Lakin dons his new robes and the Tempests continue to plan for what should be an eventful evening of debunked priestly bullshit. F&F C2-E115 - You Don't Drink the Cologne

11/17/2025
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests are heading Westward to try and return to the continent of Drago where Pez's friend Hambjerger has been supposedly reincarnated, and also the end goal of Lakin's task given to him by Ceto. But the journey so far has been laden with obstacles. First a blue dragon attacked their airship, and now the port of Ariminum is under lockdown due to said dragon attack. The city was still a bit twitchy after the last blue dragon sighting, and they were none-too-eager to further anger the sea goddess. With nothing else to do until nightfall where Lakin could speak with Ceto himself, the Tempests found themselves an Inn and explored the Romanan capitol for the day. Somewhere, somehow, along the way, Kasumi stumbled upon the local Thieves Guild hidden within an apothecary wherein they met the **Velvet Dagger**, the leader of the Golden Hand Thieves Guild. The Velvet Hand was quite irate with the situation as it was hindering business. However, being such a fresh development, there was little that any of them could do. As night fell, Lakin communed with Ceto to see if the goddess was actually upset with the city.. She was not! And she informed Lakin that the High Priest that had locked down the city using her name, was not one of her priests. We rejoin them now as Lakin emerges from the ocean with a new target in his sights and then chucks Zaan into the ocean. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle. F&F C2-E114 - Codename: Tempests Next Door

10/31/2025
The last time math rocks fell, the Tempests finally departed from the country of Takatari to continue their round-about tour the world. The next stop on their journey was the port city of Ariminum in the country of Romana where they could purchase passage across the Alboran Sea. Before they could make it to the Romanan capitol, their chartered airship was attacked by an adult blue dragon. The blue beast seemed intent on bringing down the vessel, but was thwarted by the relentless attacks from the Tempests. Though the dragon was defeated, it wasn't without cost; not only physical, but mental as well. Pez was rather shaken up by the encounter, wishing for nothing more than to plant his feet firmly on the ground again. Kasumi also had a brief scuffle with gravity, but managed to save herself from plummeting to a rocky death. And Lakin gave an in depth review of dragons and their kind! The airship limped into port and settled in a drydock for repairs. Unable to unload Cassie for fear of toppling the ship, the captain urged the Tempests to rest and enjoy the city for the day while repairs were made and everything was unloaded. We rejoin the Tempests now as the city of Ariminum lies before them and the Alboran Sea, and their next destination, is at their backs. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle. F&F C2-E113 - Wanna Talk About Dragons?

10/17/2025
Picking up where we last left off, Kasumi and Moriko connected with family both new and old. Moriko reunited with the parents she thought had been lost at sea so many years ago and discovered that she had siblings! Kasumi rescued her adoptive father Barnabus from an Arch Fae, and met another Kitsune who claimed to be her older sister, sent with another sibling to the material plane to rescue Kossori, otherwise known as Kasumi. Both stuck to their convictions and promises to help the party, and with varying degrees of emotion left once more with the Tempests to continue their journey, vowing to return safe and sound once their goals were completed and the world was safe again. Following Rakki's advice, the Tempests headed to the Skytower in the Boka district of Chunsu to charter an airship to Ariminum, a heavily traveled port city in the country of Romana. We rejoin them now in the skies above the Ayeran continent as they attempt to reach the other side of the world once more. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle. F&F C2-E112 - I'm Going to Hug You Now

10/3/2025
Last time on the Tales of Archeron, the Tempests successfully rescued Barnabus Che, Kasumi's adoptive father, from the clutches of a high ranking Fey creature known as The Lady of the Pass. But it would seem that Kasumi's search for family was not quite done as the fey possessed an item that came to be known as 'The Spiritual Tear'. A tear drop shaped gem stone that seemed to call out to Kasumi with a sense of longing and sadness. Confused by what it meant, Kasumi meditated on the item, attuning to it, and received a vision that further confused the poor woman. Moriko spoke with her own deity to see what she could ascertain about the situation, and was given a little more direction that Kasumi had found her 'new family', but had yet to reunite with her old one. After puzzling over the cryptic messages, the Tempests decided to head back into Chunsu to tie off these loose ends before continuing on their journey to help Lakin and Pez enter the Orc Lands. Barnabus was sad to see his daughter leave so soon, but seemed to be understanding that children must always leave the nest eventually and live their own lives. Assuring Kasumi he would be there when her journey was done, he sent them on their way. We rejoin the Tempests now as they approach the outer part of Takatari's capitol city, Chunsu. F&F C2-E111 - Wizards Are Like Clams

9/19/2025
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests had ventured into the sequoia forest behind Kasumi's homestead in the Tusoto Pass in search of her adoptive father, Barnabus. Buried deep within the giant trees, they came upon a palace shrouded in mist. The palace was called "The Mirrored Court" and seemed to be fey in nature. The Tempests got a little lost inside the palace, every doorway seeming to take them to random places until they figured out the trick behind it. Partially with the help of Elarion, a being trapped within a phylactery and forced to watch over the Fey's library. With Elarion's "totally not helpful advice", the Tempests finally cornered the Lady of the Pass and took her down with relative ease. (And a couple of nat20's helped speed things along of course). The palace began to fade, urging the Tempests to beat a hasty retreat. Everyone that had previously been under the fey's influence were now free and hurriedly scrambling to grab what they could and escape. Because who knew what would happen if they remained when it disappeared completely? Exiting the Palace, they ran into Ganshiro again, and standing beside him was Barnabus, confused, but unharmed, and tickled pink to see his 'daughter' again. Walking as fast as Barnabus would allow, the group exited the forest, only to find that their wagon home was missing, though they had no idea for how long. We rejoin them now as Barnabus tidies up his home and prepares tea, while the others discuss how to get their home back. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle. F&F C2-E110 - Was it that obvious?

9/5/2025
Last we left off, the Tempests were heading towards the Tusoto Pass so that Kasumi could reunite with her parental figure, Barnabas Che. This was after receiving a vision from her deity that gave her a choice between heading to her home, or investigating a fox motif door in Chunsu; both would supposedly lead to family. Arriving at the Tusoto Pass, they found the homestead empty for what seemed to be at least a few weeks if not a few months. Following the trail, the Tempests came upon a palace nestled deep in the woods to the South of Kasumi's home, a place called The Mirrored Court. The party was greeted by a half-orc butler named Ganshiro who led them directly to the Lady of the Pass. Standing beside the lady was Barnabas himself who seemed to have no recognition in his eyes upon seeing Kasumi. The Lady proceeded to trick Zaan out of owning his own name, leading the group to discover that the Lady was not all that she seemed. Assumed to be fey at the least, arch fey at the worst, Lakin attempted to attack the Lady, shattering the illusion that she was in the room with them. The Tempests were now lost in a maze of rooms with doors that seem to move them around randomly throughout the Palace. There was a brief moment where the party was split and Lakin bull-charged his way through until the party finally regrouped. We rejoin them now as they gather their wits and decide what to do next. F&F C2-E109 - Bacon Doesn't LIE!

8/8/2025
Last we left off, the Tempests had successfully cleansed the blight burrowing below the ground in Takatari. After slaying the massive plague worm, the Tempests returned to the surface and took a few days to recover in Calm Water Piers while Moriko got to know her family a better. Kasumi was graced with a vision from Shenshe that gave her and her companions two choices going forward. Return to Chunsu in the East and investigate a mysterious, fox emblazoned door, or head West towards her home at Tusoto Pass where something odd was happening in the forest. Choosing to head towards her home first, the Tempests went West and had a rather uneventful journey aside from encountering a babbling Kobold on the road who was completely ignored. Eventually, they arrived at the Tusoto Pass.. only to find that it was currently uninhabited. The area seemed to have been abandoned some time ago, with a fine layer of dust having settled on every surface, though nothing seemed disturbed or taken. As if the inhabitants had simply left. Following a few other scattered clues, the Tempests followed a slew of tracks that led into the forest behind the homestead. A thick, low hanging fog overtook them, making it difficult to see properly. That is until the fog curled away, revealing a stone pathway, hedgerows, and a wall in the distance with a palace of some sort beyond it. We rejoin them now as they stand in at the end of the pathway to the grounds within the sequoia forest. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle. F&F C2-E108 - Just 5 "Normal" Individuals

7/25/2025
Last we left off, the Tempests had done a good deed! Supposedly one good enough to wipe their ledger clean with the Takatari Dynasty. Delving deep into the earth, the party hunted down and killed a massive worm-like creature that was spreading pestilence, disease, rot, and a multitude of other nastiness-es-es across the realm. Though they did not come out unscathed, they were victorious and returned to the surface once more. They were then greeted by a contingent of Redguard soldiers being led by Taiko Yama who had been sent by the Shogun to deal with the threat below, only to find that the mostly foreign 'prisoners' had done all the dirty work while their handler, Tanaka, was clean as a whistle, having not lifted a single finger to help his own country. Yama freed the Tempests of their shackles under the authority of the Shogun and sent them on their way. The party wasted no time in heading back to Calm Water Piers to check on the villagers and more importantly, the Ito's. With both Ito parents awake and aware, well on the mend due to the cure the Tempests helped bring to the village, it came to light that Moriko was in fact, their long lost daughter. The spitting image of Ayami, minus the bubblegum pink, the family had their long needed reunion after being separated for almost 80 years. The Tempests took a few days to recover and allow Moriko to spend time with her family. Meanwhile, Kasumi was given a peculiar dream from Shenshe, revealing troubling news and a pair of visions that could influence the party's next steps. F&F C2-E107 - Reunions and Revelations

7/11/2025
Picking up where we last left off, the Tempests were deep underground below Takatari to deal with a literal blight upon the land. A massive wormlike creature had been burrowing through the land, spreading its pestilence and disease to every corner of the Empire. Having rescued some hapless villagers, the Tempests bravely went back into the depths to rid the world of this creature and its spawn once and for all. First on their list, was to destroy the creature's nests; a task that proved to be a bit more difficult than they originally thought. A peculiar item was recovered from within the skull of one of the creatures that had been growing in the nest, and it seemed to point the party in the correct direction: a Duergar city located within an expansive cavern. Making their way deeper into the city, the party was ambushed, but managed to fight off the creatures, only to have their progenitor erupt from the ground and begin searching for the Tempests. The party found a cellar that they could recuperate in and plan their next moves. Coming up with a plan, the Tempests lured the gargantuan beast into the open and eventually slayed it. But the Scourge wouldn't go down quietly. As the final blow was struck by Zaan's blade, the beast exploded, leveling many of the surrounding buildings and splashing nearly everything with it's ichor. There was no time to sit and take stock as the city itself began to collapse upon the death of the Scourge. The very substance covering everything in sight began to wilt away, what was once holding up the crumbled buildings now sloughing off. After a mad dash out of the city, the Tempests made it across the bridge leading back into the underground tunnel network. A huge shoutout to Nick Black who made our intro jingle.
