The album features all original songs, except a cover of Massive Attack's "Teardrop." Neil Young's previously unreleased solo set, "Live at Massey Hall," captured the artist in his prime and introduced the never-before-heard song "Bad Fog of Loneliness." Steve Earle
It's been a while, but we're thrilled to welcome Steve Earle back to Acafe! Along with his wife, Allison Moorer, Steve plays songs from his newest "Washington Square Serenade."Although mostly a collection of songs celebrating his new wife and home in NYC, it just wouldn't be a Steve Earle appearance without a healthy dose of politics... A truly interesting listen this week! This week's guest segment is made possible in part by Leon Speakers.
-
Dan Wilson
This year's Grammy winner for Song Of The Year, Dan Wilson, joins us in the studio for new music from his long-awaited solo debut "Free Life." And Dan brought along the bass player from his previous bands Trip Shakespeare and Semisonic, John Munson, and a ton of great stories... Including how he came up with the award winning "Not Ready To Make Nice" for The Dixie Chicks.

It's two leading lights of "left of center Nashville" joining us in the studio, Elizabeth Cook and Tim Carroll. Excellent music and interesting conversation from two of our favorite hard working musicians!
