Alan Watts has been one of the trusty side-kicks to radio god Bob Harris for the past ten years including stints at GLR in 1994, moving on with Bob to Thames Valley FM and of course since 1997 at BBC Radio 2. Alan even worked with Bob at Radio 1 on two Saturdays when he sat in for Johnnie Walker during the Matthew Bannister era. At GLR Alan was often heard on air helping with competitions and gig guides. He also enjoyed looking after Bob's many guests at GLR.
