When he’s not out in the field reporting from various sporting events or filling in as an anchor at Fox 2, Ryan’s working behind the scenes as a producer. Upon graduation from U of M, he was hired for his first on air job in June 2001 up north, at 9 and 10 News in Cadillac/Traverse City. He was there for a year before moving on to the Fox affiliate in Toledo. During his time there, he received a 2002 Ohio Associated Press award for 'Best Sportscaster.'
