Havenstad FM is de lokale omroep voor de havenplaats Delfzijl en de stad Appingedam. Hiermee is ook gelijk de naam van de omroep verklaard Havenstad FM. In juni 2003 kreeg de omroep van het Commissariaat voor de Media een zendmachtiging. Sinds september 2004 zendt Havenstad FM 24 uur per dag 7 dagen per week uit. Havenstad FM richt zich met haar programmering op een groot publiek in de beide gemeentes.
