We're giving you fresh tunes for your Tuesday. Just months after releasing an album under his Chet Faker alias, Nick Murphy has yet another album on the way, featuring a new band called The Program. You'll hear one from them plus the warm dance sounds of mysterious Parisian artist Godford and a poetic party number from Haiku Hands.

Archy Marshall aka King Krule made an impressive debut at just the age of 18. He marked the release of his album, “6 Feet Beneath The Moon,” with a performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

Femi Kuti is the eldest son of Afrobeat legend and pioneer Fela Kuti. Femi began his career playing in Fela’s band Egypt 80, but carried on the Afrobeat torch in the 1980s, leading his own band, Positive Force. Femi Kuti and Positive Force joined KCRW for a live performance in 2011 — revisit the session.
