Nico de Haan is an accomplished athlete who became interested in fitness and exercise to further his health and well being. After college Nico began running for his aerobic conditioning. He added strength and flexibility to his routine as time went by. Today Nico keeps in shape by running, swimming, strength training, stretching and participating in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Since 1988, Nico has trained individuals and groups to improve their abilities, both mentally and physically. He is a Certified Personal Trainer who's interest is your health and fitness. His main focus is on demonstrating exercises correctly to avoid injury, and teaching his clients how to manage their past injuries, while getting the most out of their personal training sessions.

Nico follows the paleolithic diet, which is a natural and utterly-simple way of eating that promotes dramatic health benefits and weight loss, without calorie counting or portion control. It produces powerful results, more quickly and effectively than other diets or weight loss programs. This is because it is the only diet that is coded in our genes. It contains only those foods that were available during the evolution of our species before agriculture and animal husbandry.
