Accountability is keeping your commitments to people. Accountability is based on building relationships. Relationships are built when you have conversations with and get to know people. Accountability always starts at the top. When something goes wrong there is usually a "way of thinking" that led to the problem. When leadership recognizes this, and works to fix the way they think, then leadership discovers they have fixed the physical problem at the same time.

The organizations who attract and retain the best people outperform their competition and create long-term sustainability. A corporate culture that prioritizes accountability does just that.
