Jake can run crazy fast, and for long distances too. So much that he has qualified and been selected to represent the USA on an international stage! He qualified for the IAU 24 hour championships in Albi, France coming up this October, after running over 157 miles in 24 hours at the Desert Solstice event in November last year. He'll be racing for the solo win, but also for team USA as the top 3 mileage of both men and women will count as the total team time. Get em Jake! We're proud of you man!

She set a world record for the fastest flat surface, motor paced, bicycle speed record in September last year at 296 kmh, 183.93 mph. Motor paced or not, this is simply amazing to me. Episode 54: Uncle "Ryan" Dudley - Gravel Ride for Maisies Pride

Gravel Ride for Maisies Pride is an amazing race in terms of scenery, toughness, a family atmosphere, and perfect training for the Dirty Kanza which is just 3 weeks after the event. Aside from the 100ish mile ride, there is a 5k and 25k run too! It's a hard event, so if you want a fun easy day, this isn't the one, but if you want to feel rewarded at the finish this one is for you! Proceeds go to funding the local town's swimming pool which was originally funded by Maisie DeVore who picked up cans on the side of the road for over 30 years to generate funds.
