Radio Ikhlas was set up back in 2001 as a local community Radio Station by the Ikhlas Foundation. It started by broadcasting only in the month of Ramadan. Since 2005 it has become a full time Radio Station broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every month.
