Sharon Van Etten is a singer-songwriter based out of Brooklyn, NY. Born and rasied in New Jersey, Van Etten moved to Tennessee for college. After a major fallout with her boyfriend at the time, she moved to back to the Northeast and harnessed her emotions into the stunning 2009 debut "Because I Was in Love". Since then, Van Etten has put out 2 more albums, 2010's "Epic" and 2012's breakout "Tramp", her most commercially successful record yet.
