The Sixth Avenue Church of Christ is a group of New Testament Christians who meet in Jasper, Alabama. Jasper is a small town with a population of about 14,000 located approximately 50 miles northwest of Birmingham, Alabama’s largest city. As members of Sixth Avenue, we come from various walks of life. We were born and raised in different places and under different situations; we were educated at different colleges and universities; and we hold a variety of occupations. We do share in common, however, the greatest link–our relationship to Jesus Christ our Savior, and it is through Him and for Him that we live.
