The Comedy Express is a weekly series covering the history of recorded comedy. Host/producer John Bialas assembles each episode from his own extensive collection of LPs, CDs, tapes and videos. "I started collecting old comedy albums in the late seventies," says Bialas, a 23-year veteran of WLUW. "Eddie Schwartz hosted an all-night radio show back then, and he'd interview comedians and play long cuts from their albums. My show is kind of a tribute to his memory."
