The Boxcar rolls on the rails of traditional and contemporary folk, bluegrass and Americana music, occasionally stopping at rail sidings to sample jazz, world folk, rock and blues. If you hear a particular artist or tune at a Telluride music festival, you can hear them on Boxcar MacKenzie. Artists and artist's representatives with new music who would like to have their music heard on KOTO are encouraged to send their recordings, biographical and marketing information to KOTO, with a note to Boxcar MacKenzie, and they will be played during the show's New Music segment.
