Description:
Since retiring from racing, Buddy has established himself as one of the preeminent television commentators in the business, working for TNN Motorsports. In 1997, he was inducted into the National Motorsports Press Association's Hall of Fame at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway. Buddy is entering his second season in the broadcast booth for the ASA Series and somehow finds time in his busy schedule to run the Buck Baker Racing School, in Rockingham, North Carolina with his brother and father. Buddy also tests cars for the Penske Racing team and was instrumental in the dicovery of Winston Cup rookie sensation Ryan Newman.
