Hill Family Tragedy Inspires Pro Love Tour
Two and a half months ago a fiery six-car crash on the Niagara Thruway brought tragedy to one of Buffalo's most beloved theatre families. Despite heroic efforts, seven year-old Asa Hill, the grandson of Ujima Theatre co-founder Lorna Hill, died from injuries he sustained in the accident. Fiddler on the Roof Opens in Buffalo with Seasoned Cast
The Broadway tour of Fiddler on the Roof opens Tuesday night in Buffalo at Sheas Performing Arts Center. The production was originally billed as the farewell tour of the show's long-time star, Chaim Topol. However, Topol will no longer be touring with the show because of a medical emergency. The actor has made the central character Tevye's name synonymous with his own. But his replacement in the Buffalo production has spent the last two decades sharing his own identity with Tevye.

Beckett gets Last Word with Return of Endwords at Torn...
Torn Space Theatre is offering a brief revival this weekend of Endwords, its highly acclaimed production from last season. Samuel Beckett would probably approve of the repetition. The play is an adaptation of Beckett's works. Vincent O'Neill returns to direct this production. Actor and Torn Space producing director David Oliver reprises his Artie award-winning role in the one-man show. Oliver talked with WBFO's Joyce Kryszak.

"Everyman Actor" James Rebhorn Champions Regional Theatre
A famous actor of movies, television and theatre made an appearance in Buffalo last week to support a local theatre. James Rebhorn attended the Road Less Traveled Theatre's gala and attended a performance of their current production, "The Man Who Had All the Luck." Rebhorn performed in the successful Broadway production of the play. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with the actor about why he is often the unrecognizable "every-man."
