WOM EP43 Farewell Show with Phyllis Maki & Belt Drive Betty August 29 2018

8/30/2018
This week we have 2 guests. First up represents first place winner of Canada’s Most Rider Friendly town, Phyllis Maki, General Manger of Community futures for Loyminster, Alberta. Up next is longtime friend and supporter of the show, Belt Drive Betty. We take this time in the show to let everyone know we have decided to end the show. Yes, this is our final show we will be doing. There are many factors that went into my decision as the producer and creator to pull the plug after nearly a year, and none of them have anything to do with Walt or John which remain great friends of mine. We had a blast and enjoyed our time together each week bringing you the latest and greatest from within the riding world including great interviews of people making a positive contribution to the world of motorcycling. But, after 11 years of producing shows about motorcycling and the rider lifestyle and never getting the traction I wanted (listenership or sponsorship), it was with great pains I decided it was time to move on. As the producer, I’ve made so many friends over the years through both Hog Radio and World of Motorcycling that will remain friends. As hosts we’ve had the privilege and pleasure of interviewing hundreds of individuals; from legends to normal folk like ourselves and we enjoyed every minute of it. To stay in touch please like the World of Motorcycling Facebook page which we will maintain and update from time to time, because you never know what the future holds and where it may lead us. We wish to thank those of you who listened to the show, especially our longtime friends (you know who you are) we always appreciated hearing from you from time to time. So as we always like to say: Keep the chrome side up and the rubber side down and we will see you, out on the road. Very Best, Walt The Rev Fletcher John The Safety Man Davis Steve The Producer Johann
