Stanley Aryanto’s journey from a small-town childhood in Bandung, Indonesia, to becoming an internationally recognized photographer is nothing short of inspiring. Growing up in a struggling family, Stanley believed success meant getting good grades, a secure job, and a steady paycheck. After moving to Australia to study engineering and landing a corporate job, he seemed to have it all—yet felt completely unfulfilled. Choosing passion over fear, Stanley left engineering behind and discovered photography while traveling in Canada. Capturing frozen lakes, stars, and ice patterns reignited his creativity and set him on a new path. Since then, his award-winning images have been published and exhibited worldwide, but for Stanley, photography is about more than recognition — it’s about sharing stories, inspiring others, and living fully.
