Ep 190 A Chat with The World's Foremost Bruce Lee Memorabilia Collector - Jeff Chinn

9/17/2025
I know for a fact that Jeff Chinn is NOT related to me (listen to the episode to find out how I know)! But besides being a double N Chinn, he's the world's foremost Bruce Lee memorabilia collector. His collection is immense and important. Even Bruce's widow Linda and daugther Shannon Lee have been to the Bruce Lee Room at Jeff's house. I had a great time hearing Jeff's stories and seeing part of his amazing collection. You can see some of Jeff's collection on display at the We Are Bruce Lee exhibit @chsamuseum here in San Francisco. If you come on a Wednesday or Saturday, there's a chance Jeff will be leading a docent tour of the exhibit, so call ahead to make sure he's there (tell them the InfatuAsian Podcast sent you)! To see pictures of Jeff's collection, you can follow him on Facebook @Jeffchinn You can let us know your thoughts at: infatuasianpodcast@gmail.com, or via direct message on Instagram and Facebook @infatuasianpodcast Please follow us wherever you get your podcasts. Ep 187 The Story Behind @imadoniseats: Adonis on Culture and Cuisine

8/27/2025
Adonis has popped up on my Instagram feed many times over the past 2 years. He's a local guy visiting some of Daly City and San Francisco's best mom-and-pop restaurants. His recommendations always hit, so I wanted to hear more about how he got into content creation. I felt like it was only appropriate to break bread together as we chatted, so we popped on down to New Lun Ting in Chinatown for some roast pork and oxtails. Pardon the noise and me talking with my mouth full, but we had a great time! Check out Adonis @imadoniseats on Instagram and YouTube. You'll find your next favorite hole-in-the-wall grub'n food joint! Ep 186 Kaila Yu on her book Fetishized: Behind the Scenes of Her Journey from Import Car Model to Writer

8/20/2025
If you were around pop culture in the early 2000s, you know Kaila Yu's face. She was a young import car model and pin-up girl. In her just-released book, Fetishized, Kaila pulls back the curtain on what it was like to be an Asian model in the 2000s. Her book is raw and revealing, and definitely worth a read. We recorded this way back in April, as I think I was one of the first podcasters to jump in line to speak with Kaila. It was really fun to chat with her, and I hope you enjoy our conversation. Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Follow Kaila @kailayu and @fetishizedbook. Get a copy of Fetishized wherever you get books! Ep 184 Part 1 A K-Watch Club with Isabel and Lingjie

8/5/2025
We had some free time this summer, so I suckered some podcast friends to watch some shows with me. Lingjie from @worstasianpod and Isabel from @proudlyasian were game to be part of a watch club. We each recommended a show for the others to watch, and a few months later, we jumped on a Zoom call to give our thoughts! The shows picked were: Love After Divorce Season 4 (2023), Karma (2025), and Signal (2016). We ended up recording for almost 2 hours, so I split it up into 2 episodes. Part one will have Love After Divorce. Come back again on Thursday for the part where we discuss Karma and Signal. I think we all liked the picks, so give them a watch and let us know what you think! Thanks, of course, to my guests Isabel and Lingjie for helping me with this episode! Listen to Proudly Asian and the Worst Asian Podcast wherever you get podcasts. Ep 173 part 2 Amy Tan Picks Her InfatuAsian and Talks More About Surviving Despite Expectations Placed on You

5/12/2025
Want some bonus Amy Tan? Yes please! Just when I thought I was wrapping up our chat with Amy Tan, we got into a deep conversation about life and surviving trauma. I didn't plan most of this and just went wherever Amy wanted to lead the conversation. *Trigger Warning* We talk about self-harm and assault, please use listener's discretion* Pictured in this post is Amy's grandmother (on the right). She was 37 when she died by swallowing a ball of opium. Amy published The Joy Luck Club when she was 37. Their two lives are intertwined in ways that can't be explained. It's been a few weeks, but I'm still riding the high of the conversation we had. If the podcast suddenly ended tomorrow, I feel like I would be ok with what we were able to build and accomplish. Thanks to thoughtful and generous guests like Amy Tan. But, don't worry, we have more Asian and Asian American stories to tell!
