This past week, Janice was invited to testify in front of the Select Subcommittee on The Coronavirus Pandemic, for the hearing titled, "Like Fire Through Dry Grass: Nursing Home Mortality & COVID-19 Policies.” Janice, along with other family members of nursing home residents impacted by COVID-19 testified in hopes of receiving answers and accountability for how former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his administration compromised the safety of nursing home patients during the pandemic. She invites Peter Arbeeny, who also lost a parent to COVID-19, to join her on the podcast to talk about his advocacy and investigative journalism he has done in the last few years.
