Talk Me To Death

Arts & Culture Podcasts

A podcast about death and dying. Death is inevitable, so why don‘t we ever talk about it? In this podcast an ER nurse and a stand-up comedian start discussions around the social, moral, philosophical, cultural and technological influences on death and our concepts around dying. Essentially, anything death related that someone will talk to us about, we‘ll join the conversation. Talk Me To Death is hosted by Amanda, an emergency RN, and co-hosted by Andrew, a stand-up comedian. While we make no claims to be experts about any of these topics, we do promise to be curious, open and enthusiastic about our inquiries. TMTD is currently released twice per month. We hope you’ll join us for some fascinating and educational talks. https://www.facebook.com/tmtdpod IG: @tmtdpod

Episode 10: Angela Talks the Death Conversation Game

5/8/2022
We enjoyed a warm conversation with Angela Fama, creator of the Death Conversation Game, about art, life, capitalism, social media, and facing your fears. Angela is a Vancouver-based intersectional artist who explores the spaces inherently found correlating within certain dichotomies (self/other, temporal/timeless, truth/fiction, right/wrong). Her praxis focuses on the inner and outer connections that can be made pushing at the edges of the barriers surrounding ‘sticky’ subjects (such as trauma, identity, love, and death). The Death Conversation Game is now available as an app in both the Play store and on iTunes. (Recorded February 19, 2022)
