This week on BSC we’ll be keeping with the holiday spirit as we have Susan Marshall and Friends back with us with a setlist full of holiday classics. Done Memphis style, of course.

This week we've got the delta blues - gypsy jazz - big band swing of the Squirrel Nut Zippers, featuring frontman Jimbo Mathus, to get us in the holiday spirit as they perform their 1998 album, Christmas Caravan, from start to finish.

It's a holiday episode of Beale Street Caravan, featuring The Maitre D's bringing Booker T. & The MGs album In The Christmas Spirit to life. This week's episode was recorded live from the cutting floor of Studio A at the STAX Museum of American Soul Music - the same spot it was originally recorded 50 years ago!

This week on Beale Street Caravan, we have an electrifying performance by the Reba Russell Band, recorded live at The Green Room at Crosstown Arts in Memphis, Tennessee. Fronted by the iconic Reba Russell, this show featured a special appearance by her niece, Brittany Russell, whose soaring vocals added yet another dynamic layer to the performance. Grammy nominated blues man, Guy Davis, will also be with us to deliver an installment of the Blues Hall of Fame, an exploration of the lives of the pioneers and innovators enshrined in the Blues Hall of Fame.

Beale Street Caravan is on the soulful road to glory this week with the Queen of Sacred Soul, Elizabeth King, celebrating the release of her third album, Soul Provider, live from the Green Room inside of Crosstown Arts. The queen is backed by the Sacred Soul Band, which features Memphis music stalwarts Will Sexton, Matt Ross-Spang, Mark Edgar Stuart, and Will McCarley. This week on Beale Street Caravan, we feature Cyrena Wages, live from the Overton Park Shell. A Memphis native with deep Southern roots, Cyrena’s music explores themes of identity, resilience, and self-discovery. Her debut album, *Vanity Project*, produced by Matt Ross-Spang, captures her raw, soulful sound and the influences that shaped her. Join us for a listening session with editors from Oxford American magazine, featuring music from their 18th annual music issue, Visions of the Blues. This week we feature recording artist Southern Avenue in a performance at Loflin Yard as they celebrate the release of their self titled debut album. With their unique melting pot of blues, gospel, and soul influences, they epitomize what great Memphis music is all about. This week on Beale Street Caravan, we feature the electrifying sounds of international rock n’ roll band, Making Movies. The band was nominated in 2019 for the Latin Grammy Album of the Year for their collaboration with Ruben Blades on the song “No Te Calles”. Comprised of Panamanian brothers Enrique and Diego Chi, along with Juan-Carlos Chaurand from Mexico, and Duncan Burnett from Kansas, the band’s sound is one that represents all of the Americas, together. Castro Coleman, aka Mr. Sipp, was born in McComb, MS and has been playing the guitar since the age of 6. A Malaco recording artist, he was awarded The Blues Foundation 2016 Best New Artist for his album, The Mississippi Blues Child. This week we feature a live performance from the Mighty Mississippi Music Festival captured during Bridging the Blues. This week's episode of Beale Street Caravan brings you an electrifying performance by JD Warren & The Rudiment, recorded live at the Green Room. Led by the husband-and-wife duo Jeremy and Dermel Warren, this NYC-based jazz group with Memphis roots infuses their music with deep soul and gospel, while also drawing on hip-hop and jazz influences. Their debut album, “I Can Do All Things,” showcases their distinctive sound.

The boys are back in town this week on Beale Street Caravan, as Memphis' own legendary psychedelic funk rockers, Big Ass Truck, celebrate their 30th anniversary live from Minglewood Hall.
