Many businesses have been impacted by COVID-19 and all should have business insurance, but the big question this last few months has been do they have business interruption cover in that policy and can a claim be made to cover the losses that have been sustained? A huge test case was decided at the back end of 2020, but that decision was appealed by the insurers involved and this month the Court made a decision on that appeal. In April 2020 these rules came into place, but only affected tenancy agreements created after 1 July 2020.
