#2,309 - Oaklands ridiculous solution for homeless thieves stealing copper wire on stop light: replace with stop sign

5/27/2024
Click here https://vnsh.com/reasonabletv to enter to win this $80,000 truck and get your VNSH holster $50 off for a limited time! Oakland officials have opted for a temporary fix to persistent traffic light vandalism by replacing them with stop signs at a key intersection. The ongoing issue stems from copper wire theft by individuals from a nearby homeless encampment. Residents express frustration over the city’s inability to resolve the root cause—homelessness and associated crime—impacting local businesses and safety. Despite several attempts to repair the lights, they remain targets for theft, forcing the city to adopt this stopgap measure. This situation underscores the broader challenges of urban management and law enforcement in high-crime areas. #OaklandCrisis #HomelessnessImpact #UrbanChallenges --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,308 - NYC shoplifting continues to skyrocket with 21,578 cases so far, Walgreens and Target closing

5/26/2024
NYC shoplifting rates have soared, with 21,578 cases reported so far this year, causing significant financial losses for retailers like Walgreens and Target, which are closing locations. Nearly all grocers in NYC have faced shoplifting, with 60% burglarized daily. The NYPD's challenges, including officer resignations and budget cuts, exacerbate the issue. Retailers lost over $4 billion last year, with shoplifting often treated as a misdemeanor, resulting in minimal consequences for perpetrators. Critics blame liberal policies and call for stricter enforcement to curb the rising tide of retail theft. #NYCShoplifting #RetailTheftCrisis #LawAndOrder --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,307 - Gov. Newsom claims California is "National Model" for solving homelessness

5/25/2024

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) was mocked after he claimed California was the “national model” for dealing with homelessness. Announcing a $3.3 billion fund to combat homelessness in his state on Tuesday, Newson boasted, “The state of California saw a decline in veteran’s homelessness,” adding that “we have a national model.” Although California has seen a 30% drop in veteran homeless since 2012, a 2023 federal report determined that 28% of the nation’s homeless live in California and people sleeping on the streets in the state accounted for roughly half of the entire nation’s total. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,305 - New data proves Progressives ‘Supportive housing’ is no cure-all for mentally ill addicted homeless

5/24/2024
A recent survey indicates that supportive housing is not a comprehensive solution for mentally ill homeless individuals. The survey reveals an increase in homelessness in New York City, particularly among asylum seekers. Jenna D’Angeles from CBS2 interviewed the commissioner for the Department of Social Services, who highlighted a significant rise in shelter system usage, largely attributed to the asylum crisis. Supportive housing initiatives aim to offer permanent housing and services to homeless individuals, but progress has been slow. Mayor Eric Adams’ plan to create 15,000 supportive housing units by 2028 is lagging, with only 3,853 units opened so far. The demand for housing far exceeds the available units, exacerbated by the influx of asylum seekers. Critics argue that supportive housing, while beneficial, is not sufficient for individuals with severe mental health issues. There is a call for more comprehensive solutions, including psychiatric hospitalization and law enforcement intervention for those breaking the law. The high cost of construction and limited resources further complicate efforts to address homelessness through housing alone. #homeless #progressive #newyork --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,303 - Dolton board approves pro-tem replacement against scandal-ridden 'supermayor' Tiffany Henyard

5/23/2024
There has been another twist in the ongoing saga in the small Chicago town of Dolton. The board members of Dolton appointed a mayor pro tempore on Monday to serve in place of embattled Mayor Tiffany Henyard should she refuse to execute her duties, Fox 32 Chicago reports. Trustee Jason House was voted in as mayor pro tempore – meaning for the time being – at a special meeting and could sign off on village business and pay bills in Henyard's absence. Henyard, the self-described "supermayor" of Dolton, and Thornton Township Supervisor, has faced accusations of corruption and has drawn national attention to the small town which has a population of around 21,500. Dolton residents have called for Henyard's resignation, including booing her at the last Village Board meeting she attended. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,304 - Texas Governor PARDONS Army Sergeant in Controversial BLM Protester Shooting

5/23/2024
Click here https://vnsh.com/reasonabletv to enter to win this $80,000 truck and get your VNSH holster $50 off for a limited time! Many people are upset over this recent decision. Texas Governor Abbott has issued a full pardon for an Army sergeant who shot a Black Lives Matter protester. Let's take a closer look at the details and reactions. For those unfamiliar with the incident, Army Sergeant Daniel Perry shot Garrett Foster during a Black Lives Matter protest in Austin in 2020. Perry claimed he acted in self-defense after Foster, who was carrying an AK-47 rifle, approached his vehicle. Perry had stated that he felt threatened and reacted to protect himself. Bodycam footage showed Perry visibly distraught after the incident. He claimed his vehicle was attacked by protesters, who left handprints and kick marks all over it. There were also allegations of shots being fired at his car. Officer Joshua VC, one of the first responders, testified that Perry appeared genuinely traumatized. #gregabbott #pardon #army --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,302 - Thieves Are Tearing Apart $4,000 EV Charger lines for $3 in copper

5/23/2024
Josh Beckler of California wad driving his EV on Mother’s Day when he swung into a Vallejo Target to top off his battery and got a nasty surprise. Most of the DC fast chargers had been torn apart, their charging cables ripped off and gone. Beckler, who happens to be a retired theft investigator for a hardware store chain, knew exactly what the thieves were after: copper wire. He explained, “It most likely happened in the night, and we found it early morning.” The thieves had dismantled nine Tesla Superchargers installed behind the box store. Surprisingly, they left some stations untouched. Beckler added, “You know, they left five charging stations. I’m pretty sure after they racked up, I don’t know what the quantity was, but almost 20 cables with the nozzles. Those are extremely heavy, so I’m imagining that’s all they could haul at one given time.” --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

A “woke” Washington, DC, judge is facing backlash after he opted to cut loose an 18-year-old accused of firing more than two dozen rounds from an AR-15 into a car full of people. Lloyd U. Nolan Jr., a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, last week ordered Amonte Moody to be released on house arrest ahead of his trial — despite acknowledging that the teen’s alleged actions could have killed someone. #2,299 - Progressive Seattle forced to recognize debacle of Defund Police, instead gives Cops massive raises

5/21/2024
Try Turkesterone with Tongkat Ali (Feminization Killer): (Buy Two Get One Free 48HR Promo) https://blackforestsupplements.com/reasonable The Seattle City Council approved a retroactive pay increase Tuesday for Seattle Police Department officers that would put starting salaries over $100,000. The Seattle Police Officers Guild (SPOG) had already approved the deal, as did the Seattle Mayor’s Office, and calls for a 1.3% wage increase in 2021, a 6.4% increase in 2022, and a 15.3% increase in 2023. The officers will be paid in a one-time lump sum, but a City Council central staff document also says the cost is more than anticipated and will add to the already $230 million budget deficit. It does not cover 2024 and beyond. The vote was 8-1, with only Councilmember Tammy Morales opposing the raises. #2,297 - Starbucks and McDonald’s Raise Prices & Blame Inflation as Consumers Pull Back!

5/20/2024
It seems like there's a significant debate around the recent price hikes at places like Starbucks and McDonald's, with many questioning whether these increases are truly due to inflation or if they could be attributed to corporate profit strategies. The mention of the companies pointing to inflation while their revenues, such as Starbucks' 19% increase to $8.1 billion, stirs suspicion among some consumer advocates. They argue that businesses are leveraging the narrative of inflation as a cover to enhance profits, especially when these hikes in pricing coincide with substantial revenue growths. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

5/20/2024
Last month a group of Portland State University protesters took over the school library and vandalized it extensively in an attempt to keep the police out. That effort failed as police moved in just a few days later and made several arrests. Of the 30 people who were arrested only six turned out to be students (two turned out to be homeless people who claimed they had no idea arrests were being made). Unfortunately the damage done to the library in the 3-days the vandals occupied it was significant. #2,295 - San Francisco buys vodka shots for homeless alcoholics in taxpayer-funded program

5/18/2024
The City of San Francisco is providing free beer and vodka shots to homeless alcoholics at taxpayer expense under a little-known pilot program. The "Managed Alcohol Program" operated by San Francisco's Department of Public Health serves regimented doses of alcohol to voluntary participants with alcohol addiction in an effort to keep the homeless off the streets and relieve the city's emergency services. Experts say the program can save or extend lives, but critics wonder if the government would be better off funding treatment and sobriety programs instead. "Established in countries such as Canada and Australia, a managed alcohol program is usually administered by a nurse and trained support staff in a facility such as a homeless shelter or a transitional or permanent home, and is one method to minimize harm for those with alcohol use disorder," the California Health Care Foundation explains in an 2020 article describing the pilot program. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message

#2,294 - California’s Beaches Experience Huge Spike In Illegal Immigration

#2,292 - Residents from liberal cities are flocking to Idaho amid rising crime and chaos

5/16/2024
In recent years, a notable trend has emerged as Americans from liberal-leaning West Coast states seek refuge from political turmoil, homelessness and crime by moving to neighboring red states. Among these states, Idaho has emerged as a favored haven, witnessing a significant surge in its population by 12% between 2018 and 2023, the Daily Mail reported. Nick Kostenborder and Ashley Manning are emblematic of this migration wave, having relocated from Portland to Sandpoint, Idaho, with their young son in tow. #2,290 - Los Angeles bus drivers conduct unofficial strike after multiple drivers suffer brutal attacks

5/15/2024
Click here https://vnsh.com/reasonabletv to enter to win this $80,000 truck and get your VNSH holster $50 off for a limited time! Los Angeles Metro bus drivers staged an unofficial strike to protest poor safety conditions on public transit as staff face violent assaults from unruly passengers. Weekday ridership in the system is only at 80% of pre-pandemic levels despite expansions in service coverage and frequency while car registrations remain steady, suggesting riders who have car access but replaced some car trips with transit before the pandemic are deciding to remain in their cars instead. LA Metro’s budget has increased significantly, from $6.6 billion in 2019, to $9.1 billion in 2024. Once accounting for inflation, LA Metro’s budget has increased 12%, going towards expanding its rail and bus lines, and decreasing the time between trains and buses during peak transit hours. However, despite notable service coverage and efficiency improvements, ridership is failing to recover as safety concerns continue to plague the beleaguered system. Because LA Metro bus drivers are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the sick-in, or calling in sick to impact service, by drivers is not a union-sanctioned effort. The one-day sick-in came after LA Metro agreed in late April to install full-length safety doors to protect drivers from violent passengers. Just days after the safety door announcement, a transient who refused to pay a bus fare violently attacked a bus driver in a video that went viral, highlighting the challenges faced by public transit drivers in the increasingly lawless city. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darien-dunstan3/message
