Colored Commentary

Comedy

Colored Commentary is a podcast founded on the idea of vulnerability. This is an outlet where the three of us (Ryan,Eddie, and Larry) could share our thoughts our beliefs, our ideas on topics ranging from sports( because, naturally) to the day to day mundane problems,to our nerdish pop culture proclivities, all the way to more serious social and political issues. The idea being that no one person is defined by any one thing but is made up of a multitude of intersecting beliefs and interests. As black men we haven't fit in with stereotypes dictating what being black should look like and have struggled with defining it for ourselves throughout our lives in our own way. We started this podcast, initially, with the intent of creating a space where the three of us could be vulnerable and vent those frustrations and find those answers together. In that same spirit, we extend that opportunity now to those listening with hopes of reaching others who may feel they're alone on their journey, and hopefully, together, we'll all have a bit of fun along the way. This is Colored Commentary.
