The guys are back with episode #153 of our Underachievers Podcast series! In this one, we're celebrating our four year anniversary. We've brought two special guests in for it, as we welcome, back to the podcast, Matt Bevenour and Tommy Fitzgerald. However, we're without Brian for it. Starting it off, Witmer and Jeff discuss the early days of the podcast, Covid-19, and the shutdown that followed. They also discuss moments that stuck out to them, from Brian and Jeff laughing for five minutes straight to their conversation on Godzilla. We follow that up, with a lengthy conversation on the Star Wars sequels and how bad Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker are, which leads them talking about the Star Wars franchise as a whole. We follow that up, with their thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles signing Saquon Barkley. Lastly, we have a question on whether the guys would rather travel to the past or the future. Going a bit different, with this episode, making it a split podcast with our Witmer&Quake Podcast. This first part, is the full Underachievers portion of the episode. It's also a sports heavy episode. Starting it off, the Witmer and Jeff talk about golf and how often they had gone out in the past year. Later on, the two discuss the Fanatics baseball jerseys and how awful they are, plus some bad stories on Fanatics as a company, with previous purchases they had. We've got part two of our, top 10 moments of 2023! Going from five to one for this one. Starting it off with #5, going back to another questions of the hour segment, a question Brian asks the guys about their go to comfort foods. At #4 we go to a moment when we welcomed Tommy Fitzgerald, when he Mike and Jeff recapped Tommy's Bachelor party. Following that up, we go to #3 a random tangent Mike and Jeff have when AI fans were at a LA Chargers games. For #2, we once again, go to another questions of the hour segment, when Brian asks the guys if they'd rather go up to deep space or the depths of the ocean. Lastly, #1 our best moment of the year, with a random tangent on whether Godzilla was good or not! So, come along and hear our best moments of the year!

With the guys off for the rest of the year, we once again, present our best moments of the year. This year going back to our top 10 moments. This first part starts off with #10 a story Brian told back early in 2023, of the time he spent $300 on shots and had to have someone drive his car home. Next, we go to #9 the time Mike asks Jeff if he would drink a 20 day old beer, after he accidentally drank a 20 day old beer. At #8 we have one of many questions of the hour segment. The time Brian asks the guys what is the worst thing they have ever drank. We continue with another question of the hours segment for #7, when Brian asks the guys what they would do with a billion dollars. Lastly, for part one, at #6 the time Brian talks about genuine happiness after looking at an old photo of himself. Come along and hear some of our best moments from 2023!

The guys celebrate Christmas this week! Starting it off, the guys discuss Tommy's Godzilla ugly Christmas sweeter and how awesome it is. This leads to them talking about Godzilla Minus One and his thoughts of it being the best monster movie ever. Later on the guys talk about the holiday. First, Jeff asks the guys, what their favorite holiday tradition is, which leads towards many random tangents on ginger bread houses, gift giving and more. They also talk about White Elephants and Tommy's annoyances with them. Lastly, the podcast comes full circle talking more Godzilla Minus one and the lack luster movies Marvel has made.
