Ash and Josh spend the whole episode discussing why director Alice Wu deserves all the things. The kids are alright in this modern day queer kid masterpiece of a movie.

Ash and Josh never feel older while discussing the much more modern coming out narrative. Also, Ash tries and fails at not being the ‘well in the book...’ type of person.

In this week’s episode, Ash and Josh discuss the 2005 film Saving Face. Topics include the difference between making an authentic film about lesbians and Jenny’s Wedding, how racism tries to ruin everything for everyone always, our personal experiences in relation to being queer minorities, and how the best romcoms can be cute and deep at the same time.

The early Aughts jumped out in this week’s episode on the 2006 film ‘Boy Culture’. Discussions include how not to write a character in a story, casual childhood trauma for the LOL’s, and how accurate a representation of the time period this actually was and how that’s not exactly a good thing.

THE REBOOT! - Ash and Josh journey back to discuss a movie that goes on Ash’s personal top 10 best lesbian movies of all time, 2004’s D.E.B.S. a movie made for women who like to see other women make out and shoot guns.

For our second documentary we dug deep to find something less well known. This one hit us hard in the feels. It's about two women who are extremely in love and were... for 42 plus years before they ever got the chance to marry. It's a journey we'll never forget.
