Saanvi Sita Mylavarapu is a Senior at Independence High School in Dallas, TX. She is an avid adventurer who has explored over 25 National Parks across the USA and hiked over 1000 miles across the globe, including destinations such as Everest Base Camp, Tour Du Mont Blanc, and Mt. Whitney. This summer, she is set to summit Kilimanjaro. Driven by her profound experiences in the wilderness, Saanvi has become a fervent advocate for reshaping humanity's relationship with the natural world. Recognizing the transformative impact of her own outdoor pursuits on her mental and physical well-being, she champions initiatives to foster a deeper connection with nature while reducing carbon footprints. She spearheads 'Nature Worthy,' an organization dedicated to raising awareness about the manifold benefits of embracing nature's wonders. She started 'Young Roots' club at school that builds Pollinator gardens, community cleanups and creates environmental educational videos. Previously, she served as an ambassador for the National Park Trust and holds positions in several environmental organizations, and advocates for equal outdoor access. She is close to making my final decision on College soon and has a couple of admission offers from Top 30 Schools along with Scholarships.
