Stark, but spiritually uplifting, inspirational (I hope) song, in spirit of U2. Follow-up to "With Or Without Youself," by Zuma Dogg, also in U2 spirit, and on this podcast page. Thank you for listening.
A producer made a very impressive instrumental remake of Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues." Marvin was known to have political and street lyrics on the smooth R&B grooves. I didn't wanna try to COVER Marvin, and didn't wanna try to learn the whole song, only to not pull it off. BUT, nothin' wrong with a little vocal improv riffing (singing), in the STYLE of Marvin, with a political/street lyric in the SPIRIT of Marvin. I live in L.A., and have been watching the City's decline, for past...
Here is a music track w BEAUTIFUL vocal performance/hook by @SINIMA beats. Check 'em out, FO' SHO! Here's one I created a duet with, on the tagged beat, as a demo. Gonna have to get the untagged=TOO GOOD! THANKS, MUCH SINIMA/NYC=REAL F-ING DEAL, SH*ZNIT!
When you have the license (OWN) a Smooth R&B music track by UK's Al Fraser (@SmoothBeatsOnly), you don't wanna get in the way, too much, or make it too complicated. The music stands on it's own, but the license agreement says you can't release 'em as instrumentals. You gotta sing on 'em. Thanks for making me work, Al...but, on this one, not too hard. http://iRadioLIVE.com for all songs.
Not a Holiday themed song, but goes along nicely with the original Christmas Holiday songs on this podcast page (Songs by Holiday Singers). http://iRadioLIVE.com for ALL Christmas Songs by Holiday Singers (f/Zuma Dogg)
Smooth R&B Track by Al Fraser, so good, it stands on it's own as an instrumental. So, Zuma Dogg added JUST ENOUGH to honor the license agreement, that it can't be released as "instrumental only/must be altered with vocals." ONE WORD, "Wah!" LOL! FUN, Smooth R&B. http://ZumaDogg.com
Only UK's Al Fraser could come up with a Pop/R&B track that reminds ZD of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" track. (Always one of ZD's favorite rhythm tracks, of all time.) NOT a cover, but a revisit. ZD doing Smooth R&B. http://ZumaDogg.com
Zuma Dogg tries to re-capture the "Thriller" era, with this perfect electronic pop beat by @TheTazTaylor, with a little "P.Y.T." recall, on the intro, and in spirit...as long as you, "Don't Be No Backseat Driver." http://ZumaDogg.com for all songs.
All vocals=Zuma Dogg on this remixed music track from the original, including EDDIE VAN HALEN'S guitar solo (STILL the catchiest little diddy guitar solo, on a pop record, since it's release.): http://ZumaDogg.com for all songs and videos.
