Sean Hemeon is an actor who will share his courageous journey of overcoming substance use and achieving sobriety. His personal story is a testament to the struggles he faced, including navigating his complex identity and the complexities of growing up with a loving yet traditional upbringing, as a child of a Mormon mother. As Sean grappled with his identity and sense of self, he found himself drawn to substance use, which became a coping mechanism for the emotional pain and uncertainty he felt. However, this destructive path ultimately led him to hit rock bottom, forcing him to confront the depths of his addiction and the pain it had caused. Sean's journey towards sobriety was long and arduous, marked by numerous setbacks and challenges. Yet, through his struggles, he developed a resilience and determination that ultimately led him to seek help and support. It was during this time that he began to reconnect with his mother, who had always been a source of love and support for him, despite their differences. Sean's story highlights the complexities of growing up with multiple identities and the pressure to conform to societal expectations. His journey towards sobriety is a powerful reminder that it's never too late to seek help, and that healing and recovery are possible, even in the darkest of times. Tips 1 You are doing enough. Tip 2 Walk Away from anyone or anything or any place that leaves you feeling less than your highest self. Tip 3 There is no elevator to Self-Care there are most definitely steps. Tip 4. Just because you don’t require much does not mean you deserve the bare minium. Tip 5 Some days will test you more than other days. Tip 6 While you are in these streets doubting yourself there is someone out there admiring your strength. Tip 7 It’s totally if you do not feel your best all the time. It's totally okay If you are less than perfect. You are imperfectly perfect It's totally okay If you have bad days.
