Covering the experiences of immigrant minors during the pandemic remains necessary, as many are still dealing with the aftermath.

The "Chandler Roundup" was a planned five-day operation (July 26 - July 31, 1997) carried out by the City of Chandler. The event involved the Police Department of the City of Chandler and the Border Patrol which at the time was a division of the Immigration Naturalization Services (INS). The results were that a total of 432 Latinx undocumented immigrants were deported and repatriated. This student group focused on contextualizing the historical legacy of this event in the Arizona landscape.
