This is a bit of a ranty episode, but the goal was to talk about the issues I have with school dress codes, and how I believe they feed into some of the toxic ideas that I run into regularly. We'll discuss dress codes, their execution and enforcement as well as how some of the ideas they promote have lasting effects. We also talk about how this ties in with being a woman on Twitch and why we should just try to respect everyone...or at least learn to shut up once in a while.
This is the first episode in a new monthly series we're calling: "High History: Puff Puff Past". Each episode in this series will feature the story behind the history of a certain event, or the history of a certain thing. Everything's a little more interesting with a joint in hand, so please join me and my co-host for this series, RileyHotSauce, as we discuss the real story behind Cinco de Mayo. It is quite interesting and has way more to it than I previously thought. Happy Cinco de Mayo...
When people say "It's the little things that count", what exactly do they mean? What are the little things, why do they count and how can we make more of them? In this week's episode we cover how some of the smallest acts can positively impact the lives of others. Learn about how little things changed the lives of not only myself, but countless other people.
