227: Navigating the Mystical: Insights from My Second Noya Rao Experience
12/24/2024
In this episode, I delve into my transformative experience with Noya Rao during my second dieta in Peru. Many people are familiar with the profound effects of their first plant medicine journey, but I can confidently say that the second dieta takes the experience to an entirely new level.
I begin by introducing Noya Rao, a rare plant medicine derived from a tree that is nearly extinct, with only a few remaining in the world. This tree, known for its phosphorescent leaves, is protected by the Shipibo tribe, who have safeguarded its legacy. The medicine is extracted from the tree's sap and is traditionally consumed alongside ayahuasca during a dieta, which is a focused period of working with a specific plant.
Reflecting on my first experience with Noya Rao, I describe it as a powerful dismantling of my ego and identity, likening it to an explosion that reshapes one's understanding of self. This year, I returned to deepen my journey, eager to explore the next level of expansion in my life, business, and relationships.
Throughout the episode, I share the nuances of my ceremonies, highlighting how each one differed from the last. The first ceremony mirrored my previous experience, stripping away layers of identity and ego. However, the second ceremony took an unexpected turn, leading me into a darker space that required me to confront deeper issues. This was a necessary part of the journey, allowing me to prepare for the subsequent ceremonies.
As I progressed through the dieta, I learned to navigate the medicine more effectively, utilizing sound and vocal toning to move energy within my body. This year, I felt a greater sense of agency and connection with the medicine, allowing me to actively participate in my healing process.
The shamans played a crucial role in this experience, singing personalized ikoros that enhanced the medicine's effects. I emphasize that the insights gained from Noya Rao transcend language, operating on a frequency level that is difficult to articulate. The medicine works beyond the mind, installing new frequencies within my system that I can feel integrating into my being.
In the final ceremonies, I focused on integrating the experiences and frequencies I had encountered. I describe the post-dieta phase, which requires strict dietary restrictions to honor the medicine's growth within me. This period is essential for allowing the medicine to fully integrate and expand in my life.
Ultimately, I reflect on how my relationship with Noya Rao has matured, evolving from a purely healing experience to one of activation and living from an elevated frequency. I invite listeners who have experienced Noya Rao to share their journeys, emphasizing that each medicine journey is unique and deeply personal.
As I conclude the episode, I express my gratitude for the opportunity to work with this master medicine and my excitement for the year ahead, eager to see how these experiences will continue to shape my life. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more insights in future episodes.

For centuries, music has been a key component in spiritual rituals and ceremonies, serving as a guide to unlock deeper emotional, mental, and even mystical experiences. But when it comes to psychedelic therapy, the role of music becomes even more profound.
East Forest, known for his meditative and therapeutic soundscapes, shares his insights on how music can shape, support, and enhance the psychedelic experience. Drawing from his years of experience working with plant medicine ceremonies, he explains how the right frequencies and melodies can help individuals navigate the unpredictable nature of altered states of consciousness. His work, which blends ethereal soundscapes, binaural beats, and indigenous-inspired rhythms, offers a grounding yet expansive soundtrack that can be both a refuge and a mirror during challenging moments of a psychedelic journey.

225: Shaping Reality: The Impact of Body-Mind Maturation on Your Identity
8/28/2024
Nick Onken and Nicky Clinch delves into the intricate relationship between body-mind maturation and personal identity formation. The discussion begins by exploring the concept of body-mind maturation, emphasizing its role as a continuous process where physical and mental development are intertwined. This maturation not only influences how we perceive ourselves but also how we engage with the world around us.
Nicky underscores that body-mind maturation isn’t just about physical growth or cognitive development in isolation but rather how these two aspects work together to shape our sense of self. This process is framed as a dynamic journey, where our evolving identity is constantly being reshaped by our experiences, beliefs, and the way our body and mind respond to various life stages.
One of the key points discussed is the idea that as we grow and mature, our body-mind connection strengthens, allowing us to better understand and articulate our identity. This connection also impacts our reality—how we interpret and react to external stimuli is deeply rooted in our body-mind alignment. For instance, someone who has undergone significant personal growth may view challenges as opportunities, while someone with a less developed body-mind connection might see the same challenges as insurmountable obstacles.
It also touches on how external factors, such as societal expectations, culture, and relationships, influence body-mind maturation. These factors can either support or hinder our development, affecting how we see ourselves and our place in the world. The host suggests that by becoming more aware of these influences, individuals can take proactive steps to foster a stronger body-mind connection, leading to a more authentic and resilient sense of identity.
Another significant topic covered is the role of self-awareness in body-mind maturation. The host argues that self-awareness is crucial for understanding the changes happening within us. By being mindful of our thoughts, emotions, and physical responses, we can better navigate the complexities of our identity. This awareness allows us to make conscious decisions that align with our true selves, rather than being swayed by external pressures or outdated self-concepts.
In the latter part of the podcast, the host offers practical tips for enhancing body-mind maturation. These include engaging in regular physical activity, practicing mindfulness and meditation, and seeking out experiences that challenge and expand our current understanding of ourselves. The host emphasizes that these practices not only promote physical and mental health but also contribute to a more cohesive and empowered identity.
The podcast concludes by reinforcing the idea that body-mind maturation is a lifelong journey. As we continue to grow and evolve, so too does our identity. By nurturing our body-mind connection, we can shape a reality that is more aligned with our true selves, leading to a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
As body-mind maturation progresses, it fundamentally shifts not just how you perceive yourself but also what you project into the world. This maturation refines your sense of identity, aligning your inner beliefs, values, and physical presence. As you develop a more cohesive body-mind connection, the energy you emanate—whether it’s confidence, peace, or resilience—becomes more authentic and powerful.
This process transforms your external reality, as the world responds to the more integrated and genuine version of yourself. This emanation attracts experiences and relationships that resonate with your true self, reinforcing your evolving identity and further shaping your reality. In essence, body-mind maturation not only alters how you see yourself but also how others perceive and interact with you, creating a feedback loop that continues to refine and evolve your identity.
