Knjiga je krvava, surova ali u isto vreme nežna i srceparajuća pošto je napisana s prve linije frona rata u Bosni 1992-1995. Faruk Šehić je i sam ratni veteran i pjesnik tako da su njegove priče potpuno proživljene te napisane s dokumentarističkim uvidom. One su istovremeno obogaćene izuzetnom ljepotom i blagošću.

Under Pressure is a collection of stories or novel in fragments. It is bloody, brutal, and at the same time gentle and heart-wrenching since it has been written from the front line of the Bosnian war 1992-1995. Faruk Šehić is himself a war veteran and a poet so his stories are completely lived through and hence composed with documentary insight. At the same time, they are enriched with extreme beauty and kindness.
