Upon arrival officers found a 59-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.Following the shooting an extensive canvass was conducted and the suspectwho fled the scene in a vehiclewas later located by a patrol unit from the Rockland County Sheriffs Office in the area of 150 West Eckerson Road LESS THAN A HALF HOUR LATER Ramapo Police officers responded and took the 50-year-old suspect into custody without further incident.
